The foundation swatches, especially with the pigment drops, are extremely helpful. 🙏🏽 I don’t have easy access to samples so the comparison is valuable for making an educated guess. 👍🏽🤓 I bought the No.1 de Chanel body mist so I’ll look for potential irritation as I start to wear it. Worn it once on my arms and it was fine. But I was planning to spray it on my neck so hopefully it works out. 🤞🏽 ☮️💟

Thank you for the great info. Amazing that you undertook wear test despite that the foundation caused a negative reaction on your skin. It seemed like an allergic reaction. Bet its the plant extract. Bummer. I too have sensitive skin and have worried that the flower ingredient would trigger a allergic response. Thank you
Yeah the fact that it gave me that reaction straight away certainly seems like an allergic reaction. I agree with you, i think it must be one of the extracts. I'm glad I took my time testing this foundation and didn't buy it straight away. Shame tho..I really loved it😅
Its sad that Channel hardly comes up with larger range. I could never get a foundation from Channel that matches brown skin tone. Makes me wonder if they are even thinking about catering to brown skin.
I am on day 6 and I absolutely love the foundation except My skin is burning peeling red spots and my eyes... the itching and flakes that developed look like burns. I have to return the product, and I wished it had worked for me as it is a stunning foundation.
This foundation looks pretty on you. I am an B40/BD41. I have not tried this new one. But, I tried the Healthy Glow one last summer, oh boy, it irritated my skin too! I don’t know what it is! It looked beautiful, but, my skin got itchy and red. It was samples, so glad about this. Also, tried the water tint one, same thing, my skin felt irritated, but not as bad as Healthy Glow.

Is it perhaps the coconut oil that’s added in the foundation as a substitute for silicone? I know that some people experience allergic reactions due to coconut oil as an ingredient in cosmetics. Definitely not the coconut oil as I use products with this ingredient and have never had an issue. I'm sure you will love this foundation tho. Would love to hear your thoughts when you get it🥰

Sorry it didn’t work out for you but it’s probably for the best if you have to go through so much to create a shade that works for you. Will you be trying the lip and cheek balms?
To be fair I can wear BD41 on itz own as foundation is light plus coverage but I figured it would be helpful to show with pigment swatches for those who really wanted the foundation and were willing to tweak it. The finish of this foundation was so beautiful that for me it was worth the effort. I'm currently resting out the cheek balms so that video is up next!

I think you are also a little bit lighter than me so BD41 is perfect for you! I've just tried the les beiges in BD51 and loving this foundation so far! Not the best in summer but I can't wait to try it in winter now cuz if my combo skin and itz rather hydrating.
I just threw away my Chanel foundation. Every time I used it, skin under my eyes would burn. Then, after removing it, it would look red for days and eventually get scaly and puffy making my fine lines look huge and deep! I only use foundation once or twice per month, so it was easy to figure out the cause of the issue for me. My other make up (sunscreen and some powders are inert and don’t cause any problems). Anyway Chanel foundation is a horrible product if you have sensitive skin! Now I need to figure out what foundation is actually non toxic and safe
If only I could have shown how the foundation looks even better after its been on the skin. If you do end up trying it let me know how it works out for you
Oh Rashi! So sorry you got all that irriation, and still wanting to upload a review. Thank you for your effort! Shame you never found out what caused the irritation. I won't be buying this. At 70 euros, there are too many cons: coverage seems too light, might cause irritation on my sensitive skin, shade range is not very good. I'll stick to my Saie skin tint, which I told you about before. Give that one a try. For me it ticks all the boxes.
@@RashiRamalho Hey Rashi, I think it will work on your combo skin. It has so many beneficial ingredients. It really nourishes your skin, and addresses problematic areas. As I said I have dry/sensitive skin (healing from eczema) and I definitely cannot wear just anything. I am very careful as to what I put on my skin. With the Saie I can just feel my skin loves it. It is a dewy tint for sure, but I never look like a grease ball. You can always powder it down with your Charlotte Tilbury. I do that sometimes when I apply the tint directly after my moisturizer. I have to say I never pile it on, but then again, neither do you. Maybe you can get a sample first?

@@RashiRamalho I love new charlotte tilbury beautiful skin foundation. But it has a hyaluronic acid in it so it makes my skin even more dry as I was using retinol in my skincare. After a month I again tried the foundation as I switched back to my normal skincare- aka Nivea soft cream , it works so much better. I tried using a fermented moisturiser underneath and it kinda separated immediately as I applied. I feel that too much of ingredients we mix in our skincare reacts with the makeup we put on it. I have gone the most simplest skincare and everything started working for me. Also the finish of charlotte tilbury beautiful skin reminded me of Dior undercover foundation with less pigments.
The one person I wait for the reviews. Being a brown skined person, its difficult with shades etc. And I am your shade but a little more lighter..Thank you Rashi. ♥️
I will definitely will not purchase this foundation. My skin is very sensitive. I purchased 4 Sephora cream lip stains and now I love matte liquid lipsticks again. I returned the lip glosses and bullet lipsticks that I purchased because for wearing under my mask liquid lipsticks are better. Now i only own matte liquid lipsticks. Now I am obsessed with matte liquid lipsticks again,lol.🤣🤣🤣 I finished using all the propa beauty lipsticks that I won in the giveaway. Propa beauty lipsticks are really good. I enjoyed using them.🤗

Oh most definitely a lot less coverage than Armani. Armani is much better if you want to be able to get medium to full coverage

I've been meaning to ask you, do you think Saie skin tint will work on combo skin? Does it have a dewy finish or more natural/matte?
