Biodiversity detail: 11:57 wood can totally sink in water depending on its density, very common in tropical climate species of slow growth. Very interesting videos of geology 👍🏼👍🏼

When I saw this, I hesitated for a moment: my room temperature is thus high that I really thought, 'watching a desert video and I will just melt - right on the spot :)'. And then it starts with the words, 'in the hot desert of Utah...' Cruel destiny!

      Rocks and Oil
looks like Blu mountain in distance. So North of Bonanza, along highway 40, West of state line. Dinosaur Colorado/ national monument is North.

Im just wondering why you don't find much in utah creatious strata from the seaway ? I lived and fossil 18:16 hunted, creatious in north Texas and found all kinds of fossils . Found lots of mortinocearas 14 in and bigger, oxytropidoceras echinoids, bivalves and gastropodes. Where are they all at in utah. I just moved here and i want to find creatious fawna .

There are some good pockets of fossils, and I need to visit those, especially in the Mancos and tropic Shales

I wish I could get you a multispectral camera with machine vision software that can recognize, measure and identify things in surface rock, including type and composition of rock or soil or mineral or chemical. And subsurface imaging tools for shallow (few mm to few feet), deeper (down to 300 meters) and very deep (3 km). All 3D chemical composition. With the same 2D surfaces used in fetal ultrasound to show layers and surfaces and interfaces. Temperatures and moisture. Richard Collins, The Internet Foundation

I adore you...but it's pronounced "vair (or vare)-day". Having grown up in NM, I twitch at Spanglish lol.
