2015년 봄, 새로운 멤버 소진, 금조를 영입하며 새롭게 돌아와 당당함과 화려함을 담은 미니앨범 드라마(Drama)로 큰 사랑을 받았던 나인뮤지스[9MUSES]가 뜨거운 여름 새로운 앨범으로 돌아왔다. 평균신장 172cm, 여름과 가장 잘 어울리는 모델돌이라는 별명과 함께 화려한 비주얼을 바탕으로 ‘여성들의 워너비’, ‘원조 군통령’, ‘명품 모델돌’ 등의 수많은 수식어와 더불어 데뷔한 이래 처음으로 Special Summer 앨범 ‘9MUSES S/S EDITION’ 을 발매하며 한층 더 시원시원한 매력적인 모습으로 변신했다.
데뷔 이래 처음으로 여름 앨범을 발매하는 만큼, 이번 Special Summer 앨범 ‘9MUSES S/S EDITION’은 ‘나인뮤지스[9MUSES]의 아주 특별한 여름이야기’라는 컨셉으로 앨범과 화보가 하나로 합쳐진 특별한 에디션으로 구성되어 뜨거운 여름을 잊게 할 건강함을 지닌 섹시한 나인뮤지스[9MUSES]의 모습이 담겨 있다.
우선 Special Summer 앨범 ‘9MUSES S/S EDITION’에는 이번 앨범의 전체 분위기를 대표하는 곡 ‘MUSE’를 시작으로 나인뮤지스[9MUSES] 만의 여름을 한층 돋보이게 할 유로피안 감성 댄스곡 ‘다쳐(Hurt Locker)’, 왔다 갔다 하는 남자의 행동에 지쳐 돌아서버린 여자의 마음을 풀어낸 ‘너란애’, 나인뮤지스[9MUSES]만의 스위트하고 섹시한 목소리를 느낄 수 있는 ‘Yes or No’ 총 5곡이 수록되어 ‘여자들의 사랑이야기’가 표현되어 있다.

It's not the same without Sera and Eunji xx

The fact keumjo is on sera's level IMHO and yet she gets one of her lines. I know she's a new member but guys. Use her & sojin! ._.
Javonte Hill I think it might be a confidence thing, they're near the same level vocally (I'd say Sera is the better singer though) but their charisma is on a whole different level. When Sera performed she used to look completely at home on the stage, whereas Keumjo is still a little awkward (to be expected, she is still a rookie). So maybe she requested to not be given those lines, or the company made the choice for her? Or maybe the company just wants to push new queen of vocals Hyemi into the spot light? We'll never know...

If I was managing Nine Muses, I would re-arrange some of the lines differently, to better fit this line up. The fact Keumjo only had one line, Sojin with no lines, is ridiculous. It should be like this:

^Note: Since Hyemi already sings the upcoming chorus, I'd give this line to Hyuna instead. Simply because it's lowkey ridiculous how in the original distribution, they had Hyuna show up so late, despite being a lead vocalist. Instead of having Hyemi sing twice within such a short time frame (literally what was the point of that?), I'd rather take the opportunity to showcase Hyuna.

^ Note: I don't think anyone would disagree that Keumjo was basically a great replacement for Sera and the one member who could pull off Sera's parts the best. I'd just give her all of Sera's parts.

Especially since Leesem's part is definitely something Minha can pull off (it's not out of her vocal ability/range).

^ Note: I know Sungah became the secondary rapper after Leesem left the group but since Sungah already has vocal lines in this song, I think she should stick to being a vocalist and let Sojin, who originally has no lines in this, take Eunji's rap. PS: I think Sungah is a better vocalist than she is a rapper. Meanwhile Sojin is a better rapper than she is a vocalist. So I think it's important to showcase what they're better at. Therefore Sungah = vocalist, Sojin = rapper.

^ Note: This was originally Hyuna's line, but since I already gave Hyuna a line in the first verse, this line should naturally go to someone else; or else Hyuna would end up with too many lines. So I decided to give this line to Sungah. Like I said, I wanna showcase the one liner sub vocalists more. Minha already got her extra line, this is the time to give Sungah her extra line as well.

^ Note: Like I mentioned earlier, Sera's parts should go to Keumjo. And as a main vocalist, Keumjo definitely deserves more than just one line. So Keumjo should sing this chorus instead of Hyemi.

^ Note: Idk why they gave the last line to Hyuna when Keumjo is literally right there. Plus, in the original line distribution it was one line per vocal line member. It's kind of the highlight or climax of the song (when you have your vocal line take turns singing). And how convenient that there are 4 lines for the 4 vocal line members. You give 1 line per member! Sera is gone but they have Keumjo! Any person with common sense would have had Keumjo sing it. Idk why they decided otherwise.

1) Keumjo = 26.3 secs
2) Hyuna = 25.6 secs
& Hyemi = 25.6 secs
3) Kyungri = 24.8 secs
4) Euaerin = 15.2 secs
5) Sojin = 14.8 secs
6) Sungah = 14.4 secs

Am i the only i who didnt like eunji as a rapper? It always sounded awkward and forced. Sung A taking over her lines was a great choice. But eauerin is my favorite rapper

Womp, again, Q-Q Sojin would've been perfect for Lee Sem's part, they made the right choice of giving Eun Ji's rap to Sung A, i wish they gave all of Sera's parts to Keumjo + her voice has potential as much as Sera's seriously.

I agree 4 years late. Sojin can cover Eunji because she's from Jeolla province just like Eunji. Gwangju AFB Sojin and Hyemi. Realistically her Jeolla dialect can replace Lee Sem's Gangwon dialect.
