August wildlife from Dumfries and Galloway

With the weather not playing nice and the red kites seem to prefer the farmers fields than the feeding stations. Not so many photographs this time, but I was lucky enough to get a nuthatch and red squirrel and a few bees and butterflies

These kites have so much wing! They are superb soaring Hawks, often over the village, I guess looking for anything left unattended ;-)
