I had a substitute the past two days and my students were awful! They went through my cabinets, got out my figets that they found, destroyed them, slapped each other with them, played soccer with them, etc. AlThough I don’t know who to be disappointed with the most , them or the sub that didn’t have the a backbone to tell them to get out of my stuff!!! Like who is the adult here!!!
I’m so sorry, that is awful! It is SO hard to be absent, which isn’t right. We are humans too, and occasionally need to be gone. We shouldn’t feel scared that our rooms will be destroyed! I would take those fidgets home for next year’s class. 😞❤️
Just so you know, purple looks really nice om you!!! I have gotten so much from watching your channel and it has helped to tremendously(so thank you). Have a request, I am supposed to do centers/groups and honestly I don't know how and could you could possibly do some videos on tips or suggestions with doing groups. I hate bother you so I;m sorry. Thank you. Alicia from CT
It's just not good that you do not get a prep on Wednesdays, prep times are so important. Your co-teacher is out a lot, I hope that she is okay. I'm a substitute now and it is critical that we follow all of the sub plans, especially the duty times, and schedules.
I agree, I really miss prep when I don't get it! This year has been busy for my teaching partner--all are healthy and fine, though--she's been out for happy occasions! Wish you could be my sub! That would be amazing! :)
@@teachloveinspire561 our prep time is protected by law. Thank goodness!! I couldn’t image not having a prep time. One day a week we actually get two prep times in my district! It’s lovely!

Thank you, Alicia! I can definitely go over how I do groups, happy to help! How many kids do you have in class?

@primaryprocedures2289 that is AMAZING!! We are told that we DON’T have a protected prep time, by law, but they factor it in for us. 🤪❤️
