This song broke a lot of stereotypes for SNSD back then. Easy dance steps, Dance line not getting much lines, SM's box videos, among others. I'm telling you, if this was released during the OT9 era, this may have probably been their best song/promotion and it's not even close. Hard-slaying choreo, dance line getting most of the lines, MV being shot outside a studio, and they even slayed this on Live performance. This is definitely top-tier SNSD release, and it's sad that this song is getting slept on.

My Hyoyeon shone a lot here, she mostly was the one with less screen or center time and is underrated. I do not know how much I repeated her part since 2016. Whenever I watch this MV, I keep clicking backward whenever her center time is done. She's such an amazing dancer!

Who can still remember that Girls Generation made it to the international news due to their dancing is in sync with their music? I've always liked Hyoyeon since I discovered SNSD. yeah, that's cool, but the reason why SM gave yuri, yoona, hyo and soo more lines in this song is because this is the last release where jessica was featured, but since she left after they've filmed the m/v, they had to re-do the line distribution and gave all jessica's parts to these four. that was a good decision by SM, but as we can see, in party m/v, tiffany, seohyun and tae got the most lines, as usual.

***** Well I'm glad they distributed the lines more evenly, but TTS voices still stick out as the best of the group. For example, Seohyun got the least screen time, but she was really memorable for me because her voice really popped and was very strong.

this is EDM song, Electronic Dance Music, so its feels different. anyway, soshi is not just a group who will do the same, play safe, and do similar song or concept every time. dont just stuck in specific concept/music of them and keep comparing it to the new release. if you want to keep up with their music, you gotta put an open mind, because soshi is always upgrading, and surprising, you will not know what they gonna pull off next. each time, they will draw you in.

This is not a lyrical song, it's a dance song. If the words were taken out, it would still make you want to dance. The words give it a story but really aren't needed. In other words, I would be just as satisfied to watch them just dance to this, if that makes any sense. ^^

For example, Seohyun says "Hey oppa look at me, please stare at me a bit" from Oh! But this song is different. This song is like a Korean version of SJJD, more targeted towards women. Yoona says "You're staring at me as if it was love at first sight But I can't easily accept you." This song could be marketed as an anthem for all those Korean women that maybe don't want to be held down or feel pressured into marriage. Lyrically, this is an important move for Korean soshi.

Back then, real talent was acknowledged. Like every one knew how to sing and dance. There were variety in their music videos. Now, I feel like it's more of commercializing and competition. Same old edgy visuals... No innovation. Just better production. That's all.
With all the comments about Sica, I feel compelled to share my thoughts with my sone family. We have to go back to her audition where she cried because she couldn't sing. Instead of tossing her aside, Lee Soo-man saw something in her and told the producers to have her trained. While it costs about 500,000 USD to train a kpop artist, SM spends upwards of about 3.5 million USD to train 1 snsd member. Over the years Sica has become super famous and has one of the most instantly recognized voices in the industry, and SM has benefited many times over, financially. Fast forward to 2014. Even though the other girls signed a new 3 year contract, SM agreed that Sica could leave in the spring of this year after the comeback album and were planning to announce it with the knowledge of the other girls. Sica suddenly announced that she wanted to start promoting her fashion earlier than anticipated. (Personally, I think she was influenced by an outside source) At any rate, this caused a major problem and gave cause for SM/snsd to have to move up production and promotions but this interfered with Sica's own promotion objectives. This is where negotiations went south. She probably would have had to divide her time equally which would have been virtually impossible. She couldn't be a part time member of snsd any more than she could be a part time head of her flagship fashion company. We have to consider if her fashion goal would be as successful as it is had she not been a member of snsd. This may have been part of the dispute. Anyway, I feel that if her heart was still with snsd, then she would have found a way to at least fulfill the album obligations. I love her just as much as the next sone and I wish her nothing but health, happiness, and prosperity. But, if the passion was no longer there then, whether or not it was her decision, she ultimately made the right choice. I'm not hating, just reflecting and I hope none take offense because there's none intended. I'm proud of her and our soshi and look forward to many more comebacks. ^^

I feel a clash of interests caused her to choose to leave earlier than anticipated and that it caused a lot of sones grief. Either way, I plan to continue supporting all of them in whatever they choose to pursue. :)

People have preferences. Just because they like a group doesn't mean that they have to enjoy every single song. There are times when a group comes out with a song that some doesn't like, but that doesn't mean that they think the group in itself is bad and that they suddenly aren't fans anymore. I am not a sone, but I have friends who are and I respect them in the kpop industry so that's why I watched this. I liked it, but that doesn't mean that I'm suddenly a hardcore fan either. People have preferences and it's truthfully slightly ignorant to expect everyone to just love this song after listening to it a few times. You should not force yourself to like a song. That being said, I couldn't agree with you more about Jessica though. I know it's hard, not just for the fans but for the girls too, so the best thing would be to just accept it and move on.

Folks EDM music doesn't have that many song lines. The less singing lines the better. And i kinda glad that GG match the beat that so fast with the dance move which is very hard. This dancing is more complex & difficult than exo latest choreo. This is so powerful after ITNW we ask soshi to bring killer choreo to the table and they gave us this 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

The thing that people who keep wanting jessica back seem to not realize is that by now or next month jessica would have left on her own decision all sm and Snsd supposedly did was speed up the process.I mean jessica obviously wasn't feeling Snsd anymore seeing as how she is incredibly happy now and how sm insiders say she had been saying she wanted to leave.Respect Jessica's decision, I mean you guys keep saying comeback but to me it seems obvious that even if sm welcomed her with open arms and a pay raise or something like that she would not want to comeback in a million years,because she wanted out and she got it even if it was a bit earlier than she had planned.I hope she has a great life being Jung CEO

Divine What kind of opinion is that? That's like killing someone who just found out they had terminal cancer with only two months to live. (They were going to die anyway).
The problem with the Jessica fiasco is that SM fired her in a very rotten way. It was a total blindside and the way they let her go was VERY rude and inconsiderate to the fans. All they had to do was let her attend the China Fan Meet....AND THEN let her go. Possiblly used the last SMtown Japan Concert as Jessica's final farewell.
It's not like SNSD is just another typical average kpop group. They were the mothers of female KPOP....they were legends. How do you boot one of the most popular members to the curb like they did? lol
I'm not a fan of Jessica at all but I find the ways of this company very disturbing. They don't give two shits about the fans at all. Maybe it's just a Korean thing....maybe this is how Koreans do things?
Remember Jessica did NOT want to leave when they kicked her out. I'm sure she wouldn't have time to do the next album....but this Japanes Single was ALREADY pretty much done. In fact you do know they took Jessica's vocals OUT of this song right? Japan was just using this song as one last gasp to soak more money out of SONES pockeets. This song was held back just like Irresistable and Divine.
