Thank you for a real, heartfelt insight! "Injury to the soul" is a great description of losing a parent or in my case parents and younger brother. Nobody sees the pain, the loss and heartbreak. But, like you said, we survive, move on, look at the next positive objective and keep going. Good luck in conquering Ingmar Stenmarks record. I watched him in my childhood, and the only one who has come close to the ballet like slalom skills, expertise and results is you! If, or should I say when, you break his record you utterly deserve it and I hope Ingmar will be there, whether in person, or in spirit. And so will be your Dad! 🙂

She's incredible although every time I look at winter sports it's sort of sad as you feel they won't exist in maybe 20 years time so what kind of legacy will any of the great likes her leave behind.
