I have booked astor savvy cvt. it feels very painful to watch these real negatives. I totally agree with all the points mentioned here. I gets into dilemma of whether to continue with the booking or cancel it. But at the end what you said made me forget all the negatives you said in full video. :) Mixed emotions :P
I have savvy red, I do agree about few points, and consider not important about few points, depending on customer requirements, you can't compare an adas enable astor with non adas seltos particularly when mg sells adas top end same price as seltos with out adas, ok so don't feel disappointed, only one point I agree is bit less under thigh support, can be fixed with out affecting airbags, auto dimming rear view not a big deal we are not frequently going to flip it, but mg has given auto dimming head lights, a big convenient, ventilated seats can't be used ling duration for health reason, I simply start aircon remotely using mobile app 10 minutes before, if given right command ai works fine, many talk about camera quality in a narrow laned old Town in tamil nadu i simply reverse even 50 meter with out taking eye of display, no need to look out, it's underbelly well covered, tyres low noise, it's aerodynamics looks, most buyers know and don't expect more than 15 km per litre, ADAS itself worth more than 3 lakhs, in Europe and australia same model crash ratings 5* , turbo engine with tc gear butter smooth, the combination made by German bosch, America GM, Japan Nissin
U need not to cancel the booking Astor, bcz I have been using since a year it has so comfortable to drive and good quality they have maintained both interior and exterior, this video is bullshit
I guess people are neglecting the main demerit which is the vast sunroof available, which in Delhi and nearby areas will definitely heat up the car, the shutter downside is sort of netted fabric which doesn’t completely serve the purpose. Being said that, the view through sunroof is really breathtaking and for me is worth taking the risk, being somewhat new feature for us Indians in this price range. But yes for Delhi NCR and nearby guys i would surely suggest to consider this issue.

@MOTOR POINT It is actually quite a serious issue. I have both Astor and ZS EV which are same vehicles and both get very hot due to this. However I would still recommend buying them as they are great vehicles.

Yes you are right but as i have told you in the video, this is not negative of MG Astor, this negative from a owner's perpective. I don’t want it initially before buying the car. Also, glove box light is not a useful feature for me also

Yes we can lock all doors from the driver side. And about MG app, I think it’s the best among all the car available in india upto 30 lakhs. You can switch on &off the AC, start & off the car, lock & unlock from any distance through its app only. You car track the location of car, book service, geo fence any many more through its app.
Good points mentioned here. For me the biggest demerits was lack of storage space, lack of auto dimming IRVM, horrible under thigh support of rear seats. Also the wipers not being able to be pulled up manually is a big hassle while cleaning the windshield. And yes, that bot is absolutely ridiculous.

I sold my Astor CVT Savy Red after using for a month driven for 3400kms with 3 lakhs loss. Further i request don't go for mg astor CVT. ADAS features not at all usable for indian road conditions.You will definitely regret if you take mg astor. Mileage was very poor. City 8 to 10 , highway 13 to 14 kms. Don't expect mileage more than that.

You seem to be fanboy of ASTOR, yes indeed this is the best car under Rs.17.00 Lakhs (Ex-showroom) in the current Market. But not every car is perfect, Negatives samne lana bhi Jaruri hai. Book Skoda Kushaq as well, but didnot considered because of EPC issue and i dont regret my decision of Buying AStor.

Yes, my MG ZS EV which is the same car in electric version, does heat up a lot due to the sunroof. You can put a film on it and that helps.

I sold my Astor CVT Savy Red after using for a month driven for 3400kms with 3 lakhs loss.
Further i request don't go for mg astor CVT. ADAS features not at all usable for indian road conditions.You will definitely regret if you take mg astor.
Mileage was very poor. City 8 to 10 , highway 13 to 14 kms. Don't expect mileage more than that.
How was the engine performance, is it underpowered? Fun to drive?

You seem to be fanboy of ASTOR, yes indeed this is the best car under Rs.17.00 Lakhs (Ex-showroom) in the current Market. But not every car is perfect, Negatives samne lana bhi Jaruri hai.
Book Skoda Kushaq as well, but didnot considered because of EPC issue and i dont regret my decision of Buying AStor.
Can literally feel this person not happy with car!! Please know what’s cost cutting and budgeting for car where many useless companies just looting money not providing anything!! Negative differs from person to person so it can’t be general negative
