This was a great video for sure! In the last week I've really been playing with my Strega a lot, especially in conjunction with live viola. I've found that the upper range of the pitch is really useful as a subtle and expressive range of the instrument. While performing I found some ranges of it that sounded like string harmonics, and playing with that along side a real player made for some very interesting sonic textures. Thanks for sharing this, there is a lot more exploration with this instrument for me!

How perfect, and perfect timing too. I'm actually working on a piece at the moment with field recordings of bats I recorded by the river here (South East Australian fruit bats) and had been planning to play around with those sounds in the Strega. I'd love to merge this patch with those recordings and hear the madness. Great work folks.
@@AbyssalPantheon Hey, cheers. I found some interesting results, but ultimately took the whole thing in a different direction, then had to pack up my studio and move, so things are a bit on hold with that project at the moment. Still gonna finish it, but have to get my new space working first.

Great video and awesome patch by Jake! Finally ordered mine today (Strega... not Jake) and wondering how Strega works as a saturator for a more traditional patch.
I'll do a little exploring to see if using Strega mainly for "saturation" on another patch from a 0-Coast or maybe Shared System yields some fun results. Thanks for the suggestion! Enjoy the Strega ⚡️
The more I watch these vids the more I think the Stregga would be a great companion to my Pittsburgh Voltage Research Lab, bats and toucans going at it with each other, why not?
The whole retail world is a sh&t show these days. The biggest player in bicycles (Shimano) is telling dealers that Q4 2023 things "might" get back to normal.

What ever happened to the DPO add on card which gave you two or three more wave varations?
Do you mean the RxMx? It had a connector cable to access a couple extra DPO waves.
