I'm old School, I was a 16yr old kid when Randy Rhoads died, but I listened to 'bangers and mash' by accident as i tune into 5 live on AM uk radio, and often it starts in FM and that's radio 1 - total utter rubbish usually, but the rock show, I kept it on, it just took me on a journey - bands I'd never heard of 'Code Orange, Casey, Big Business, Pallbearer, John Frum, to know kids are still looking for soundscapes in the darkness... amazing - so yes Mike absolutely - culturally rich fields in metal, more so than other genres but for classical orchestras, I too believe that.
It's hard to know the mind of someone but I swear this is one of those pedals Mr. Hermans had *more* fun with than most. : So Mike, despite all the tasty blues and jazzy licks we've heard you play, are you a hard rocker at heart? :)

yes yes, but what speaker? as you know, speakers play such a huge role in the amp's frequency reproduction. Curious if I could get tone like this from an Alnico Blue EL84 setup.

You've got plenty of other videos presenting heavy riffing with this one. Image there are ppl like me who are interested in Filaments while not really being that much into metal riffs :) Mike did an amazing job here.
its just saying its versatile and multiple people have other uses for it. I play White metal and really don't like the death metal scene. but the pedal doesn't imply anything satanic so id still buy it LOL
I'm into both scenes, it was just something I had never run into before, a pedal for metal, but not just metal, all kinds of metal, even black metal, and if you want to, unblack metal, too! lol
JL C Then you have not seen too many demos period. I watch nearly 30 demos of gear a day and this was just fine. I thought it sounded better than 90% of demos

this distortion pedal not 'evil' as others distortion pedal but sounds like it can easily handle Lamb of God and slayers sound
