Yeah both new sets have problems with even slight raises. Hovewer the trains itself are very well made and they can ride at full speed way better than previous ones.
You'll get it up and running and it will be spectacular. I'm curious to see how much track you can weave in and out. I always feel the radius of the turns are a challenge. Great work!
One of the people working with casting asked me to apply for the show, but unfortunately I don’t have the time to be away from my work and family. Maybe one day though.
Mabye another factor is that you had the train backwards. Also to run two trains at the same time you need to either switch one of the cables that goes to the motor from the a port to the b port the only problem is that the lights won't work unless both trains are moving and if you don't want that you can also have the trains set as the same color and connect them to the same remote and they will run at the exact same time and if you don't want that then you can connect them to the remote with different colors and then just press the green button to switch the train you want to use
Great video! I have the new train station but not the new trains, the thing is that the train station is built for them so is to far away from the track for the trains I have.
It's always a bit tricky with how wide the trains are with the details on the side, and how close platforms can be. Hope you can customize the station or something to make it work better for your trains.
I had a lot of VIP points at LEGO so I got it for a big discount. It sure is overpriced though, even at stores that usually have lower prices. I really like the look of the engine though. But the control system is still bugging me.

These new train set are very-lgbqrst. Notice the rainbow colors used in this years train station. Woke LLego is going to go down HARD as their kits keep getting weirder & weirder every year. Nothing NEATO as all get out not even the buildings in City theme. I laughed soo hard to learn another company making "compatible" parts now and a ton cheaper. Maybe the Technic D11 Dozer kit interested me. Maybe we are supposed to put our own kits together.....
A bit uncertain what the definition of woke is in different cultures, because I don’t find the rainbow being woke. And I stand by our afol friends who are lgbtq.

They use "woke" to indicate education and critical thinking skills and valuing human rights are a bad thing, and not the nostalgia from childhood they want to relive before we had marriage legalized and such. As a member of the LGBTQ+ community here in the states, I always stand by my Afol friends and lgbtq+ friends. I'm a proud trans ally too. Regarding lego, I have mixed feelings about their inclusiveness. I appreciate the Pride march and Everyone is Awesome set, but they give money from Harry Potter sales to Warner Bros which goes to JK Rowling, who continues to harm the trans community on social media. I came here researching the two newer train sets and wasn't expecting people to be angry over inclusiveness like that first comment.

Yeah, I like the look of them. Especially the freight train. I think I'll actually will raise the 9 volt track so that the car car can pass under it.
First you have to setup the train track layouts. After that you start to build the city. Good luck

Yeah, the turns are tricky. I might get custom tracks at some point, but I want to see how much I can get out from the standard tracks first.

Train runs smoothly here in Texas. I've added 4 engines to run 72 cars without a derail!

It functions as its supposed to he just didn't have the track set up correctly and didn't have his layout optimized for the train
