I'm just finding about this cover now and wow, this means a lot to me. Back in 2015/2016 I had moved from Portugal to the UK with my girlfriend at the time, but it turned out to be a mistake. I ended up with depression and all I wanted was to disappear. I was a huge Alex G fan, and I accidentally discovered JANK the day you guys released Awkward Pop Songs. I was hooked since the first time I've heard it. I remember strolling alone through London's melancholic streets while listening to JANK and Alex G. It was all I heard for like a year. Got the special baby blue edition of the APS tape and I was so happy, it really helped me a lot during those times. I also talked to Lou a few times, way before they got big, and that also helped me a lot. Lou probably won't read this, but just in case they do, thank you so much for everything. It's likely that you don't even remember me, but I do remember you and that means a lot to me. Hope you are doing better now 😊✨
