What type of cable do you use exactly? Because I have the same and it doesn't work. I suppose that problem is in exact version of hdmi (maybe, 2.0 or higher) or in signal direction (hdmi for output and mini hdmi for input or bidirectional cable) but I'm not sure.
I got the goggles but didn't know where to get hdmi cable like this one. What I had is a normal hdmi cable and that doesn't fit on the goggles. So I want to get this one.

You can get HDMI to mini HDMI version 2.1, it's probably on Amazon or Ali's.
How do you get to the mode menu where you see the hdmi input option? I couldn’t find it and therefore couldn’t use these goggles on my laptop?
