Meet my new crew - we sailed from Pasito Blanco, Gran Canaria to Mindelo, Cabo Verde

- My yacht insurance company requires at least three onboard for the ocean passage. And with that, please meet Margot, David and Kate - my beautiful new crew to cross the Atlantic! The first leg is from Pasito Blanco, Gran Canaria to Mindelo, Cabo Verde. This is about 850nm and we made it in six days. Winds were 10-16 knts all the way and we mostly tacked downwind with the gennaker.
That Amel 50 is a helluva boat. Great crew too. Looks like you guys ate well.
Thanks a lot! The A50 has been an absolute dream to sail, and I’m lucky to have such an awesome crew by my side! And yeah, we definitely didn’t skimp on good food :)

Completely agree!! Next time we'll stay longer - would love to visit Sal and a few other islands there. Amazing place!
@@1RURO Sal was cool! However, I liked more white sand beach of Boa Vista, very much liked Sao Nicolau (rented car for 2 days, no tourists, amaizing) and most beautiful Santo Antao... Certainly comming back for the rest of islands and the same again with family after inspection!:)

Hello, il y a deux mois, pour information, des amis à moi se sont fait voler leurs papiers l'argent les téléphones alors qu'ils étaient au mouillage à Mindelo, de nuit pendant qu'ils dormaient, la descente était restée ouverte pour aérer!!!! Bonne continuation
Content que tu aies aimé!! Nous avons séjourné dans la marina et ils y ont une très bonne sécurité. Tout s'est bien passé au Cap-Vert - je suis tombé amoureux de cet endroit :)
