Their company (143 Entertainment) did not agree to an extension because they're basically 99% confirmed to be joining Limelight. As a keplian, with kep1er as their ult group it hurts me greatly as we can see that they definitely don't want to leave... Shooting star is arguably one of their best songs they have released so far! I get so emotional watching the stages.
Shooting star is the title track for kep1er's first full korean album and the final album as 9 members. It has been confirmed that 7 members have renewed their contract and 2 members ( Mashiro the co leader & yeseo the maknae) will sadly leave after their japanese concert in July ( 13th - 15th ). The final concert day will have a live broadcasting and be the final farewell for the 9 member lineup. Needless to say, this is a very emotional time for both the members and the fandom because we feel conflicted with the happiness of the renewal and the sadness of losing 2 members. But overall, we will continue to support all 9 even after all this 💞💞💞 *we even finally managed to give them 1 music show win after 2 years without any !* They did an encore and thet WERE LITERALLY CRYING 😭😭😭😭. But still did pretty well despite all that 💞💞💞

The rap lyrics were written by dayeon herself. She also were known as all rounder along with youngeun in kep1er, yeah the rapper that harmonize together with them that u guys mention. She also main dancer together with hikaru, the other rapper (short blonde), and she also were considered as one of the vocal line in the group.
