Constructive criticism, or at least my opinion I hope it comes across as constructive, more of Carol and less of the ARG stuff, please, while I appreciate trying something new and the effort that went into the ARG idea it's just not what people come to the channel for, nothing wrong with trying something new at all but I feel like people come here for unsolved crimes, true stories, stuff they can look into themselves and discuss in the comments, the effort of something like this where there's been research and going to a location to film etc is all appreciated by the viewers and not overlooked, maybe the ARG mystery thing could be a Halloween series every year to get involved in so the work that went in isn't wasted, that would be interesting, a new one every October over the month leading up to Halloween... Just my opinion/feedback, not trying to be negative
To be honest, you're one of the few people who aren't being negative. What you said was just genuine constructive criticism, which is pretty rare on the internet imo. I agree with you too, while I thought the idea of an ARG was interesting, yes, I'm not subscribed to this channel for fake mysteries. I think the legend of Peg Entwhistle probably inspired the creators of GTA 5 to make Jolene Cranley-Evans who is a female ghost in the game. I think the ghost appears near the area of the game's version of Hollywood sign. That she only will appear like at midnight in the game if you're there to see her. She'll de-spawn if you get too close. She floats in place over a rock. When you approach her, or whenever she will naturally de-spawn, the name "JOCK" is on the rock she was over. It's rumored she was killed by someone named Jock. I know it's not exactly the same story, but the creators probably were inspired by true life story. And that's all I know about Jolene Cranley-Evans, all from hearing around the internet. I haven't yet tried to find her in game yet. And I mean no disrespect by mentioning this game ghost. When I heard Peg jumped from the sign, it reminded me kinda of Jolene's story. And sorry to everyone that knows all about Jolene if I gotten anything wrong I'm sorry. You can kindly correct me if you want to.
@@Cheerful_Ox Yeah that's what the wikia said when I had to look up the ghost's name cause I couldn't remember it. I only remembered she would appear in a mountain area. And I don't know what mountains have the Vinewood sign, so that's my excuse for that. That's for the kindness.
What a wonderful woman, story telling and craft. Yes Shane and Ryan created their own thing but her style is absolutely wonderful too. I really hope to see more of her.
The subject of suicide is coming up a lot lately. But those hotlines are very problematic. Been seeing a lot of people saying either no one answers, or they hang up on you. I know from personal experience, they trace your call and call the cops, who are NOT mental health specialists.
I called a similar line that was advertised thru my job. Something called employee outreach or something, it was supposed to help with anything from alcoholism, financial troubles, anxiety and depression. I was crying while I was explaining my situation and the woman was like, "I really don't know what you want me to do"
Now I can't stop thinking about that scene in The Kissing Booth where those kids slept there all night...and other things. Did this ghost not see them? I would have enjoyed that scene more if she popped up.

I, for one, am actually disappointed with the amount of people complaining that there isn't Ryan and Shane. The video content is for free and there are people who work on the script, go out to shoot a video (like Carol here), and try to give this channel content for people to watch -- for the people who actually like this sort of content. If you truly cannot sit down to hear an interesting tale/history, you can leave.
I rest my case.
You must be a BuzzFeed plant
@Gabriel Kekw yeah but the people in the comments can be horribly rude about it, leaving a channel is fine but you don't have to insult all the channels other content because of this
@Gabriel Kekw what does you sounding abelist have to do with any of this, we're talking about people being rude, not being autistic
@@clowntown3 Don't argue with that user. Not worth your time. Please enjoy your day without the mess on this planet.
@@spoon3413 you're right honestly, enjoy the rest of your day too
I love how carol's presence and voice does not overwhelm the episode 💕 more of carol and this please~
Very interesting. I appreciate the fresh content buzzfeed
There's a REALLY good "Paranormal Witness" episode about the 4 kids that went up to the sign. It is scary!!
I WAS THINKING OF THAT! I was like, is she gonna bring it up? When's she gonna bring it up? I hope she mentions it so I can be like "I know that one!".
I watched the paranormal witness episode about her when i was younger and it freaked me out so bad
This was really sad but also a very good cautionary tale. Carol, you did a great job. I’ll definitely continue to watch you❤️
Maybe a bit on the nose, but I would watch the heck out of a film of Peg's life story x
Same! Sadly I don’t think there is one :(( I thought it existed because I watched Hollywood, which is about a team that makes a movie about Peg, but it’s fictional
@@xoxo.marlow I need to watch Hollywood, is it good? x
@@hotpinkcrayolas yes omg it’s so good
I love this! It's well explained, the visuals are intresting (i loved the model of the sign, that was nice touch!) and the writing is good! :D The voiceover can be improved with more practice but it was still very enjoyable to listen to! I hope you keep the model-building aspect in new videos, and that you show more of the process, it's really original! And it keeps in the idea of talking about legends surroundings landmarks ;)
She's the best one I've seen since the guys moved on. I agree, with a bit more practice, it'll be more fluid. I'd watch more with Carol
The model-building would be a great signature touch for Carol to keep in future videos! Makes it more unique to her.
y’all should watch the paranormal witness episode based on this! It’s called the hollywood sign haunting
Thanks
I dont usually comment on buzzfeed videos but "Keep going, Push through, You might be just around the corner from what you've been looking for" almost made me cry, and made my day
If only all the people who are complaining about Ryan and Shane subscribed to their channel, Watcher.... it’s so frustrating when you say you only want R&S and then don’t even support their channel smh
I just want a Ryan and Shane unsolved TH-cam account already :///

Carol seems really lovely, I’m looking forward to more videos with her. I’m certainly going to miss Shane and Ryan on this channel, but I’m also looking forward to whatever direction this channel ends up going in
Just so you know Shane and Ryan have a new channel called Watcher!
@@elliereppe9021 Oh yeah, I know. That’s why I said I’ll miss them on this channel. But thank you for letting me know. 😊
Carol is my new favourite BuzzFeed person, big love to you girl ❤️
YESSSS THE MINIATURES GIRL IS BACK!
The story about the people trespassing up to the Hollywood sign was on Paranormal Witness I think.
Yes, it was. I remember watching it.
I love that you make models for these kinds of cases, it's such a neat way to visualize things when you don't have access to the original!
I really like Carol, I'm staying subscribed for her pleasant voice/storytelling, and those awesome models! Poor Aria lol hope that all ends well
this made me tear up so much man.
Carol just became my new favorite BUN producer
It’s been a long time that I’ve watched somebody that’s not Shane or Ryan
Likewise!!!
Yeah and I won’t be doing it again. When the ghoul boys leave, I’m done

Though I like your idea of a once-a-year thing, where we all come together like some twisted Whoville story to solve an ARG.
Carols voice is so cute! Such a great vid
Carol is pretty good in my opinion, i like her litol recreations of places.. she need to be less stiff tho go with the flow but overall im very pleased with this series!! Fighting carol^^
I'd never heard this story before. Thank you for this telling - it was well done.
Yup however I’m pretty sure its on mount gordo
And theres a guy who runs for governor called jock cranley
@@Cheerful_Ox jock is big character in online , from sites to clothings he's a stuntman
@@itsranveerbru5220 yup
@@Cheerful_Ox Yeah that's what the wikia said when I had to look up the ghost's name cause I couldn't remember it. I only remembered she would appear in a mountain area. And I don't know what mountains have the Vinewood sign, so that's my excuse for that. That's for the kindness.
What a wonderful woman, story telling and craft. Yes Shane and Ryan created their own thing but her style is absolutely wonderful too. I really hope to see more of her.
i love how enthusiastic she is while struggling to hike all while wearing a mask. i love her! 😂
I loved this. The research, the presentation, the kindness, all of it.
Emotional and mental pain is far worse than physical pain. I feel bad for her.

Linda the Ghost Hunter actually communicated with her, along with a spirit medium. She made a video on it, if you're interested in that sort of thing.

Love Carol’s model of the sign. She’s so creative & needs to keep these videos up; good research on her part
I was crying while I was explaining my situation and the woman was like, "I really don't know what you want me to do"
@@AA-yc9dq Exactly! I am not sure why these things exist, except perhaps just as a "feel good" band aid.
I’ve heard of this story and it’s so tragic. The Hollywood sign got fame but it was due to her tragic passing. It’s just so sad.
"If someone you know at risk" of course i know him. It's a me mario.
I enjoy Carol's content a lot! I love her narrating, and Building A Case is a favourite series of mine
her voice is so soothing it kinda sounds like Lisa Nguyens
I like Carole a lot. Please keep her Buzzfeed, this is some good stuff
I had couple of pictures 📷 the fence wasn't a deterrent. Pegs story was so sad.I would've liked to have known her.
i loved this video!! so informative and i love how you went to location and built the sign as well
What a nice little video. I mean the quality not the content, that’s tragic. I mean good job on the video! 👍
Oh yes, I love her building projects! You can see how passionate she is with the craft!
I like Carol, I hope she makes more videosss 🤍
OMG my name is Carol tooooo! I have never met or seen another Carol under the age of 50!!! This made my dayyyyyy!
Now I can't stop thinking about that scene in The Kissing Booth where those kids slept there all night...and other things. Did this ghost not see them? I would have enjoyed that scene more if she popped up.
“Push through.....it’s just around the corner” thank you!!!
I hope this doesn’t give those 3AM vloggers ideas...
I loved this vid, hope Carol makes a return! Such a cool series concept and it's delivered clearly and compassionately
The whole area is fully of the Holly plant.
