Steam locomotive 'Samson' at Beamish Museum

The latest new-build steam locomotive, Samson, seen at Beamish Museum on October 2nd 2016. The original locomotive was built by Stephen Lewin in Poole in 1874, later scrapped in 1904. The replica was built at Beamish, largely by volunteer David Young, being completed in 2016. See more at www.beamishtransportonline.co.uk
