      @@GPap-jw5sm Stop resting on your laurels. Having lived in Greece for many years was enough to realise that Ancient Greece and the modern state could not be more different. And believe me, I was not the only one with that opinion - my Greek friends share my views - or rather, I share theirs. It took me a while to see the narrow-mindedness and xenophobia- although it was not directed at me - as the majority of the population seem to think that some nations are apparently better. During Christs time there were also such Priests and always have been - they give up all natural life, a wife, a family, shopping, going to a movie, and they spend their time offering this sacrifice up for us, praying for us, the people of God making amendment for our shortcomings and offering prayer and supplication and if you think that is like being in royalty your nuts. Because they have thousands of Gods in some places and will add Jesus to their Gods if you teach about him. That's is the way ut I think they are Muslims. Respect is good but if it keeps people from the truth then it is no good cause. This place is nice but means nothing to God if his word is not being spread to all the earth. In the end, it will be destroyed like everything else and mean nothing. God never said shut yourself off from everyone and keep them out and away from you for life. Traditions of men bring the word of God to no account. Nice fellows but this has nothing to do with God and His way. The beauty of this place will not save anyone. God looks at the heart and not buildings no matter how old. It's just more important to not miss the mark when it comes to God. I throw respect away if I see someone that is lost and does not see it but hopefully in Love.

      It’s not that mysterious, just an unincorporated island in an incorporated Indian territory that has a tribe of people who have been living in isolation for something like 60,000 years. They live like people used to in the stone age, and India has has prohibited pretty much any travel to the island or its surrounding waters. This is a group of people, good people, trying to be Holy (their idea of being Holy, not Gods) without God as if they know better than God what being Holy is. • @LittleBlueOwl318
      @LittleBlueOwl318 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      They already have a religion AND a church of their own... and they do know who Jesus Christ was. Their religion is much broader and more inclusive than yours - maybe it's YOU who should seek THEIR guidance. They are respectful of Christians and do not try to force you to be Muslim, so why can't you just respect them the same way and leave it at that? Why do you think they need to adopt YOUR beliefs? Jesus is mentioned 187 times in the Quran, directly and indirectly, and is also referred to by many titles - the most common being al-Masīḥ or "the Messiah".
      How many times does your Bible mention Allah or the prophet Muhammad?
      Nor do they try to convert you to Hinduism. Hinduism is older than Christianity - the Vedic texts are thousands of years older than the Bible. Vedic knowledge says that that Brahman (GOD) IS the universe and ALL things are essentially divine including our person. Vedas even tell us about maths, the age of the universe, of parallel universes, even the distance to the sun, how to analyse correctly, how to connect with powers (devas) greater than humans, etc. Quantum physics has also come to the conclusion that all is one energy and that there are no separate entities anywhere. So far, the Vedas have never been proven wrong by science. Moreover, the Vedas claim this oneness can be experienced after purifying our inner perception, and many sages did so. So the claim, that Brahman is the essence in all, is surely closer to the truth than the claim by Christianity and Islam that the Supreme is separate from his creation, including the human being, and will send all those who don’t believe in a certain book for eternity to hell. This Vedic claim of divinity in humans gives naturally inner strength to a human being and also kindness (as Brahman is in others, too).
      Nothing in Islam OR Hindu sounds bad or wrong, so why do you disrespect them by telling them they must "come to Jesus"?! Just because that's what YOU believe?
      You enjoy YOUR freedom of religion...so allow others to do the SAME!
