The English dub for Junko is phenomenal, Amanda did a great job as her. You can really feel her lust for that despair through her excellent voice acting. So good that she returns in DR 2 as an AI in that virtual world. Junko is my favorite DR character.

Danganronpa has really impacted my life. With memorable characters, Despair influenced Despicable Villains you LOVE but would also wish to see ACTUALLY punished for their crimes against humanity. And shipping wars that'll last for ages.

After finally seeing this in English (I played through the entire game in JP) I would've had this nagging feeling that I knew the voices of Shirokuma and Kurokuma in Another Episode and the fact that they were each implanted with a Junko AI wouldn't have surprised me as much.

I like how she’s calm and impressed when she is going for the punishment I mean like she’s her monokuma friend so the monokuma would be added with sakiuma and Junko
I haven't seen a lot of people point this out, but Junko secretly was going to survive. If you look closely at the very end, the last part of the punishment, she probably was hoping that the conveyor belt would continue to move, causing her to fall behind like what Naegi did. But the conveyor belt stopped, perhaps by an AI, and you can see Junko's moment of "wait what" as she looks up as if something was malfunctioning. I've seen not a single person notice this, kind of sad.

What I find interesting is Junko’s definition of despair or how it feels. She is strangely feeling exhilarated/excited at the prospect of her impending death, which you would expect to not be within the general description of “despair”.
At least from what I understand, despair is an emotion that exists in the absence of hope. Junko also said this line; “loving brings me no hope at all”. From what I can tell, Junko never experienced despair because she had unconscious hoped for a new form of entertainment to relieve her boredom. This said boredom would’ve been said source of despair.
Also, I believe it can be said that despair and depression are linked. While I am not an expert nor have I done research on this, I would guess that a person that is depressed would feel despair and then would go down that road depressed people tend to go. In Junko’s case she had somehow never seemed to have gotten to the point of depression with her boredom yet, most likely due to the resources she had at her disposal. If she had not been able to find any more ways act on her boredom due to lack of resources. I would guess she would’ve finally gotten to experience despair and depression… And then go down the road

Just a little dump about my thoughts, skip if ya want.
Unlike some other people’s interpretations, I don’t really think that Junko had any regret in her whatsoever. And the the reason why she looked unhappy the second before she died, not because she regretted what she did or whatever, I think it was because she didn’t die right away. She was so obsessed with despair to the point where she would literally kill her self just so she could experience despair. So that’s what she did. So I feel like the fact that she didn’t die right away kind of annoyed her because she wanted to experience as much despair as she could as soon as possible.
So yeah. I feel like Junko isn’t one of those villains who secretly hates what they did or whatever. She didn’t regret anything. She had such a genuine smile throughout her execution. And that’s why she’s such a good villain in my opinion.

i am really dissapointed that she didn't got an unique execution, i think that if she got one, it would be the utimate fashionista's (because mukuro is the only person she actually murders herself), and because before becoming ultimate despair, she was the ultimate fashionista,
i would love if she went through all of them, and then the ultimate fashionista's execution.
