I used to be so sensitive to foods, but now I can eat everything because it's slowed down so much. I have gained weight and now have adjusted my diet. I do intermittent fasting and only eat one meal a day. You really do need much less food now. I look pregnant by the end of the day. I'm so thankful I am single, going through all this. I truly feel for you married ladies.

Thank you. I didn't realise it was connected to the menopause. Great information, as always.

I was hoping for some new solutions that might be hormone related. Drink water and eat fiber...? Nothing we haven’t read a million times before

I like olive oil on whole wheat bread., and a ripe banana. Just 2 teaspoons of extra virgin olive oil.

I thought I was just eating the wrong foods that was causing the problem. I eat plain Greek non fat yogurt. Trying to drink more water as well.

      Hi Anita
I am very well, thank you for asking!
Dairy products can often cause problems such as this so you could use almond or oat or coconut milk instead. If you are worried about not getting enough calcium you could take a joint formula which you can get at your local health shop.

Dairy products can cause some people to have more mucous, and that can cause a problem.

that was very helpful and thank you. Eileen.
i think i have the prolapse bowel because i do have prolapse uterus.
the stopping and starting and the struggling to go even though i get the signal to go.
ii is what i have and its exhausting .it started after i took antibiotics, even though i am taking probiotics. Now.
i have thought of taking flax seed oil and psyllium husk, has any one else tried this?
the brown rice is a good idea thank you, any tips would be great as very sore. have hot water bottle at the moment. x.

That sounds tough. Flax seed oil is a good source of omega 3s. Ground flaxseeds will also provide fibre for bowel support and just make sure you drink lots of water with the psyllium husks. I know many women have found a lot of support from women's health physios for various types of prolapse. And practicing pilates can help too. I hope this helps!

      Hi Ethel
There are lots of triggers for fatty liver so it would be difficult to say for sure, sorry.

I just started taking PremPro (Estrogen & Progesterone) and I have constipation....what? Premarin is Estrogen...so why am I constipated? I took PremPro 10 years ago and never had constipation.....they must have changed the formula....it it now made in Ireland.....Hmmm

      Hi Diane
You can check the Patient Information Leaflet which comes with the HRT to see if constipation is a common side effect or you can ask your pharmacist.
