I just got this little package and wanted to share my thoughts on the markers! Honestly, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and the softness they had. I had a faulty one sadly, but I kind of fixed it?

Actally I never thought of using a coat of acrylic paint first and that’s a good idea cause acrylic markers always ruin the paper on me. I will try that next time ❤❤❤

yesss it is like a protective layer haha and adds some nice textures, I think it also makes it look less flat

And to answer your question: 🐳🐋
It makes sense to use regular acrylic paints for your base colors. No point in using up your markers for the base. The markers are really designed for the details, anyway. Love the video & fantastic whales 🐳 😊

Hey! Came over from insta. If you wanna get rid of the hiss around 15:15 your camera is probably turning up the gain automatically to look for audio if you take it off Auto it won't do that (but also sometimes it won't pick things up so it has some drawbacks) anyways I don't mind but wanted to point that out in case

Your work area is so organized! 😍 it can be so hard to sit down and draw when your supplies are everywhere, but it looks so peaceful with your pens, markers, etc having an easy to access spot that doesnt take up the whole desk 🙌 seriously tho, really love your work setup 😊👍
I need huuuge tables to do any work haha and it's only organised when I start painting😅after it's a bit of a mess

i know you didn’t use your paints/paint brushes in this video but i’m super curious what paint brushes you use? all the paint brushes i’ve bought and used have come apart or frayed despite them being ridiculously expensive and storing them very carefully. i love to paint but am pretty deterred right now as i always find hairs from the paint brush in my finished pieces thank you in advance your art is always amazing and so inspirational i’m so glad you decided to start a youtube channel 💛
