I've done items only and I can say with confidence that supreme ant is possible without superguarding, just get item+ and do a bit of grinding for 4 bombs
now do the pit as a demolitionist! it will be fun, also killing the rats near the sword throw is a good way to grind tix since you get 12 tix for the cost of 1 bomb
