Scottish notes have a picture of the Clydesdale Bank employee of the month on the back.

I went into a Co-op, in England, with a Scottish twenty. The girl refused to take it. So, I picked up a packet of chewing gum, took it to the self scan, paid her with the change...
I was also with a small group of contractors from Scotland in New Castle, working in a Home Bargains or B&M, one of those. Most of the guys I was with were immigrants. One of them was refused a sandwich, when he tried paying with a Scottish fiver. I told the cashier to stop, went into the staffroom, and brought out the huge, laminated, poster from the wall showing all the notes they accepted. Pointing at the offending fiver's mug shot.

    This guy is fucking brilliant.
I'm 62 in April and I really believe I could take him out in a pub carpark.
    No I do.

Recently I almost short changed someone by £15. Did anyone else know one of the Northern Irish banks produce blue £20 notes? Wankers.

Scottish notes aren't actually legal tender in Scotland.

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Go educate yourself, When England want money they just print it hence the debt they are in. When Scotland want money they got to buy gold in order to have money printed.

@@magz6763Wellt hast dumb because Scottish money is backed by Bank of England and the Stirling so if English money deflates so does Scottish it’s 1 to 1.

Jock currency is not Legal Tender and if Scotland ever got independence from England then Scotland would not have a currency, they are not all that bright up there in the north.

Independence from England? You mean from the United Kingdom. Anyway, how about you educate yourself.
“The Bank of England has a legal monopoly of banknote issuance in England and Wales but, for historical reasons six banks, three in Scotland and three in Northern Ireland, also issue their own banknotes that circulate in the system and may be used for cash transactions anywhere in the United Kingdom - but the law requires that the issuing banks hold a sum of Bank of England banknotes (or gold) equivalent to the total value of notes issued.”
