- Tomorrow, we celebrate Yom Ha'atzmaut (Israel Independence Day), commemorating the signing of Israel’s Declaration of Independence on May 14, 1948.
Yom Ha’Atzmaut is celebrated on the fifth day of the Hebrew month of Iyar, which begins at sundown tonight, May 13, and ends at sundown tomorrow, Tuesday, May 14.
In a time of constant fighting over occupancy, today we proudly celebrate the recreation of the Jewish State of Israel. May she continue strong in the midst of adversity.
