As soon as I saw the video were you performed Giuliani, I was convinced that you are a talented musician and that I would continue to follow you. Yes, life as a student is quite carefree. Afterwards all kinds of things come along that take you away from the essence: playing and teaching music. I guess that's life. By the way, it would be interesting to know which Bach suite you are practicing in the video. I wonder too why it is so difficult to keep a piece I learned on the guitar in memory. Especially Bach and counterpoint oriented music. On the other hand, when I know how to sing a song I can still remember it years later. The guitar is complex.

I don't know why, but BWV 998 always makes think of (and feel) like it's Christmas. Given my love affair with Lauro and Barrios it will have to wait until then before I play it again too! It's interesting to see someone else practice it as well, especially slowly. Enjoy your interpretation of Mariage D'amour, which is work I'd love to play one day. Good luck in Germany.
