Halifax, Canada A Snowy Walk in a Blizzard | December 17, 2020 [Silent]

- A walk through downtown during our first major snowstorm of the season. It was windy & my phone case with the wind muffs was home, so apologies for the wind at times. I did have to mute out some of the Christmas music that was playing as we walked by.
I did cut the video short at City Hall, as I was getting blasted by blowing snow and I was freezing. My son walked with me, so you can hear the swish of his winter coat.

Another fun video through the familiar joints and lanes. The snow has made it appear tranquil and serene. The St. Mary's cathedral looks like a picture frame, with the pervasive snow. So beautiful, this time of the year. Cheers, Bevie. Merry Christmas!!!

my favorite city,,,walked this route many times,,,had a great time on this walk tyvm for the post, brought back some old fond memories of my friends in Halifax. I hope to visit this summer after covid of course

You’re welcome, Mike. I think we got close to 20cm last night. I really enjoyed walking in the snow with the lights of downtown. Hopefully, going to Dartmouth this weekend to see their lights.

The storm came on pretty fast late in the afternoon. It was a nice walk from work. I'm hoping the snow stays, it makes this time of year so pretty.

Thank you from England for the video. The silence goes well with the snow; a beautiful 'silent night' in Halifax. The muted segment in Roger's Square is intensely visual to the point of surrealism, really wonderful. What time did you film? It gets dark so early now it's hard to tell. Thank you again for this charming rove in the snow.
Thank you. Roger's Square is my favorite. I actually filmed this around 5:15pm. It gets pretty dark around 4pm here and I usually walk home from Downtown.

I did. I had a copyright strike for it.

They tore down the old Mills Brothers depth store and are putting condos there with retail on the street level

Let Me give you advice don't make long videos , 20-30minutes it's best format . After 25 minutes people loose attention and interest keep watching .

While I appreciate your comment, I won’t be taking your advice, seeing that your channel videos are a lot longer than 20 minutes. I film for however long as I want to, whether it be 20 minutes or over an hour, that’s my choice. It’s also the viewers choice to watch however long they want and I see my dashboard, I know how long my views are on each video I post.

@@Just_BevieYHZ I do it rarely, that's why . Take a look , my first videos been less than half hour , when I had enough time for it. Now I do whole stories, mini movie. But I see TH-cam statistics -- short videos have more views!
