"TristA"? Merrit must have reasoned that the adjectival ending should be "a" with all feminine nouns. It should, of course, be "tristis". What an interesting sidelight on how quickly, and on how many levels, the brain works!
Revisiting this 02 Sep '16. What happened to Lella Cuberli? She kinda burst on to the scene but disappeared just as fast as she came. Excellent control here, see how she goes from forte to piano almost instantaneously! 20:47
Dopo aver sottolineato la VERGOGNA per la pubblicità che interrompe un così grande capolavoro musicale , per dire scemenze, devo dire che, pur non raggiungendo la profonda dolorosa spiritualità dello "Stabat Mater" di Pergolesi, troppo proiettata verso il sinfonico quasi a melodramma, si tratta pur sempre di un grande capolavoro firmato da Rossini. Un paragone può essere il "Requiem" di di Mozart con il "Requiem" di Verdi: due capolavori, ma quello di Mozart ha una spiritualità e una tensione alla trascendenza che manca a quello di Verdi.

a me è piaciuta di più la versione con Dessì, Scalchi, Sabbatinii e Pertusi. prova a risentirla e poi dimmi che cosa ne pensi.
la conosco ma per me non c'è possibilità di confronto con la Cuberli, Ramey e Merrtt.
