Just recently today, I got mine on the mail like two weeks early than anticipated. It’s the Shining Plate Version. I thought that since it looked shiny in the animes that it would match, though the back of it is a lot more mirror-like compared to the front. The inside of its cover says, “Don’t forget 3. Oct. 10”(there wasn’t a customizing option, probably due to limited stock). Though I think I might consider picking the antique version later if I’m able to.
Is there actually a timer .. (English is not my first language) like a watch, on the cheaper ones ..? Do they work like a real watch, the cheaper ones I mean.
Yes! The cheaper ones do have a timer and work like a real watch. The batteries were just dead in the ones I had in my video. Also your English is really good!

I’m deciding to sell one of them(likely the Shining Plate version), in exchange for another must have I’ve been contemplating more on and lately I feel like my pay rate has been slow lately(maybe not always cheap, but I hate having to wait 2 weeks before getting a pay check of several hundred dollars that it’s making me being more conservative about spending my money so much). I’ve rarely used the pocket watches, so I think it’s best to provide one of them a new home. It’s a tough decision, especially when having both of them does actually represent pretty much all versions of FMA(the animes and manga). But I’m compelled a bit more to not have two watches just sitting around.

Though at times it’s actually a bit harder to put the cover back on, which I do by squeezing the watch and pressing the cover back on with full force.

Before getting one these, I ended up experiencing a cheap mechanical pocket watch and well I already knew that it’s best to hold the button down while closing it, but... that did not for when opening it as you open it and just let the front cover swing out so quickly it’ll cause the latch to strike part of the notch where it’s supposed to go. Overtime the latch wore down because of that. I bent part of it to get it to hold the cover again. As a result, I now also hold the cover closed and hold the button down before letting the cover swing out. Though another thing is that after a while the bottom spring for the cover snapped after frequent use causing the cover to flop around whenever it’s open. It’s part of the reason that by the time I got one of these FMA pocket watches why I don’t use it very often, particularly opening and closing it.
All state alchemist have the watch, so do they make one without the date or do all state alchemist have the same date on all of there watches? ive watch both of the shows. I plan on cosplaying Roy Mustang.

And I’ve been planning to show off two FMA watches I got with those two years(I thought were days) on the 10 and 11 of October... Welp, at the time this comment was typed I’m 6 days late. The reason why the second hand the small little and down by the six exist so that you can count your seconds if you look on my channel and you take a look at some of the pocket watches I have like the 1877 one in the 1920 Elgin one they both have second hands down by the six but some watches like that don't have the second hand but some pocket watch like chronograph have a long hand like on Modern clocks so that's why they exist but some very early watches that they back all the way up to 1600 they don't have small second hands because they probably weren't invented by then I still need to learn about earlier watches back in the 1600 and 1700 but I prefer wind-up watches are known as automatic watches but I still collect some battery powered pocket watches and sometimes carry them on me
They are all way too small. in the show, the watch looks about 3.5- 4 inches in diameter. But all of the ones on the IRL market are less than 2 inches. I fkn hate it
