A nostalgic masterpiece from our Boomer past; it was GARGIE! And, Rickie's backflip was amazing!

😂🫵 we had sectionals and boy could we play different games on those along with (once we got the stereo TV counsel )we would even incorporate musical chairs although it was called musical (davenport)😆✌️🤔😄😂🤣 where I grew up 🥶 instead of couch 😉 and if we did break the furniture nobody would fess up to it it was just mysteriously broken when nobody was in the room😮😂 the best was we played hide-and-seek and close my brother in a coffee table and broke the doors trying to get them shut and it was broken by the hinge so in my mother was sitting there one night and going to read a book to us all we all got big eyed when she reached down to get the book out of the broken door and when she was sitting with it holding it in her hand looking at it we all went😮😮😮😮 oh would you look at that😂🤣😂✌️😆🤔😉 crazy times especially because people were not helicopter parented and they left you alone to navigate yourself along with kids in the neighborhood and the older ones left to take care of the little ones because nobody really got a babysitter every time they left the house. And actually the thing is we did do a good job of babysitting each other and discipline was handled and kids behaved or else you lost the privilege of running in the neighborhood. 🤔🤔🤔✌️ I know it's probably confusing to kids nowadays because I would run into parents that would plug their kids into videos or anything so they did not have to interact or take them anywhere myself I could find any free stuff weather was library or park or museums there's plenty to do for kids and adults spend time together. Some of the funniest things happened when neighborhood kids and us all we're left to watch each other or do we have stories to this day and we're in our 60s ✌️🥰🫵

@@shawneenhammer4241 I'm in my 60s as well, and I remember all the shenanigans we got up to back in the days before political correctness and mothers having to work because all the good jobs were sent to Asia! I want to recount a few stories from my youth too, but alas, I'm in a hurry today; maybe later? 😉

Ricky has his Rams helmet on backwards - did anyone notice? To be honest Ozzie was the FIRST to do a "show about nothing". The lady on the phone was the future Clara, Joe's husband and Harriet's friend.

26:14 It is well that Ozzie had the sufficient skill level to be able to saw off the legs of his dining room table. If only Harriet would have been capable of preparing a Japanese meal they could have just left all of the chairs down at the Emporium Bowling Alley.
