I've been trying to find things to expand my range on the fretboard that was not just boring scale running. This track actually had me playing ideas I didn't even know I was capable of.
Great backing track! I'm interested in buying the same Larry Carlton/Sire model like yours. Are you satisfied with the guitar? Is it a versatile instrument?
It's an awesome instrument, and with HSS pickup configuration you can play really anything with it. I actually played some big shows with artists with that guitar.
Thank you, learning to record and mix takes time, when I started it was not easy for me either. Fortunately we have youtube and you can learn anything from it. My tips: - learn how to record a good guitar/bass signal and how to use virtual amps and teak them to your taste - learn panning and volume balance - learn how to EQ guitar, keys, bass and drums - learn how to use compressors to tame the dynamics without crushing them - learn how to do all the above while listening to everything else in the track to make sure all is working together Its a good start, there are no shortcuts or miracle plugins.

High E slighty out of tune…
I'm just detuning it a little bit on purpose with the tremolo arm.
@@pocketjamtracks I know, I can relate to it. :) Love the track, brother!
Thanks, I'm coming back with cool new stuff in November 💪
