Hi, awesome vid, I love the fact that you posted the infinite and short combos while showcasing the q cancels. I’m a new player and picked up warrior, but after reading for a bit idk if I should stick to it or reroll to something easier and more consistent like striker/guardian. Especially given that I can only play 1h a day at most, and I find it hard to keep up with the class’ mechanics and hidden tricks (120+ fps for more dmg or something like that). I would like to hear your opinion on this!
I play on 100 FPS and lower (~60 for PvE). For PvE, it doesn't matter. For PvP, it matters just like for any class. The new "best" combo we have (showcased in the Warrior discord) is FPS dependant but you can adjust it to be low FPS friendly. If FPS is something that concerns you, I can say with confidence it'll affect you similarly no matter the class you choose (and not a whole lot, it's just that some timings are a bit less forgiving if you're low fps vs high). Regarding limited playtime, yes, warrior takes longer to learn than most classes, but at the end of the day once you have it down, it's the same as any other class. If you enjoy playing warrior more than other classes, I advice you stick to it. If you like guardian and striker or other classes the same or more, then yes, you'll have an easier time learning those fully. Most classes in the game are fun to play anyway, if you don't mind playing female classes or certain asthethics. Hope it helped you :D
Man this is extremely confusing that you put "OR" in the infinite combo, doesn't really say when or what to stop. What are we choosing between? It says balance strike OR reckless but in your video you do balance strike into reckless. I'm so confused. Edit: Thank you for clearing this up, you're a very talented content creator.
It says "Hilt Strike OR block" meaning, you can let balance strike flow into hilt strike and then qcancel hilt strike into reckless blow, or qcancel balance strike into reckless blow and skip hilt strike entirely. Basically, W+RMB - Hold RMB - Q - RMB+LMB, or W+RMB - Q - RMB+LMB I hope this clears it up for you
@@paulreitzin2455 Yes, the directional keys are only used to use Head Chase () in that direction. Balance strike can only be used by pressing W+RMB, it does not work with say, D+RMB.

Im like 54 or 55 and i still button mash and ive been trying forever to find a button by button guide on how a rotation works. and don't even get me started on workers.
You have the skill inputs in the description. Awakening warrior is very high apm compared to the rest of the classes. There are multiple guides on workers but they're not very important. Take the game a step at a time, it'll take a bit before you need anything like the combo in this video :D
Returning warrior here. Nice combo. I’m curious, wouldn’t Merciless be preferred over severing thrust on PC version combo as well? Severing thrust damage seems is good but the hit box seems really small. Also, I’m not getting a crit chance buff after slashing, did that get removed or am I missing something? Cheers
For the crit buff you want to do slashing right after heavens, inputting slashing during the animation of heavens so there's no delay. About merciless, the hitbox is actually pretty similar and the skill is much faster, so the dps is just better. Feel free to experiment and see if it works better for you, for me it doesn't.
Ahh okay, I figured out my issue. I was holding Q during Heaven's>Slashing. Apparently holding Q in between these skills prevents the crit buff from activating. Cheers@@YberDC
I can't tell if you're being ironic or not. Stance swap is changing from Awakening to Preawakening or vice versa. The only thing console players don't have yet is Severing Thrust, the Magnus skill. You should be able to replicate the combo with the filler damage I suggested.
@@YberDC lmao 😂 I'm dumb I thought it was a skill I call it something different and it's jus "change". It got me twisted cause ninja has something called alert stance and I thought warrior was getting something like that 😂 also ik we don't have severing thrust I wish we did tho
Thank you :) and yes, the class is fairly high APM. Thankfully the cancels are fairly repetitive, so once you have them down it becomes second nature. If you have hand pain problems, I suggest succession berserker, or, if you really want to play warrior, succession warrior. Awakening warrior is getting buffs on this week's maintenance, so if you stick around you should see a decent increase in your silver/hour.
@@YberDC yea looking forward to the buffs! Been playing BDO on/off for 2years now mostly on Warrior and then switch to my tagged Guardian after a few hours of grinding. I just gotta practice on optimizing which I’ve been a bit lazy, but Awakening Warrior is by far the funnest class I’ve played so far.

@@itaintthatdeep4755 Yes the buffs were good, they affected PvP too. I'd say the class is roughly on the same spot because they've buffed every other class too, but the buffs made it significantly better than before at PvP and alright for PvE.
Harder than succession berserker for sure, and definitely one of the harder classes, but at the end of the day once you learn the combos you don't need to think much. Try it out.
Having trouble again cancelling into reckless blow, doing w+rmb + q + lmb+rmb and I get it maybe one out of ten times. Do I need to go into balanced strike in block form?
You cancel either balance or hilt. In both cases you cancel during the skill, don't wait for it to finish even the dash, use it into a mob and immediatly cancel, see if that helps.

Shift + Direction key is to reposition after charging reckless blow. Hold RMB+LMB, then shift + A/D/W/S to dash in that direction. Reckless blow releases once the dash finishes. If you don't dash, then the attack is released the moment the charge up ends/is interrupted. You can see this exemplified during the guide. I know you edited that part of your comment but I wanted to clear it up for you. Q cancelling Balance into Reckless, which is your original question: cast Balance Strike (W+RMB), and the moment you hit your target (not before you do), press block (Q), immediatly followed by RMB+LMB (reckless blow) , and hold RMB LMB until the skill releases.. If done correctly, reckless blow will release before the bar is fully charged, having all the benefits of being fully charged. It's possible to just tap RMB LMB and cast Reckless Blow quickly, losing the benefits of full charging (twice the damage, much larger area of effect and +10% attack speed for 10 seconds), which can be useful in PvP, but generally for PvE you always full charge the skill.

Is it optional? Right now I'm just doing Q cancelling Balance into Reckless,question: cast Balance Strike (W+RMB), and the moment you hit your target (not before you do), press block (Q), immediatly followed by RMB+LMB (reckless blow) , and hold RMB LMB until the skill releases. Assuming that you refer to PvE, all classes in the game have the ability to grind and make money on any stop with enough gear. However, not all classes can generate the same amount of money/ have the same mechanical requirements. As is, most classes in the game are easier to play (less buttons/timing) while also dealing considerably more damage to mobs, meaning they make more money. That's what people mean when they say warrior is bad, your ability to make money is considerable less than most other classes.
@@batric11 Best class is Awakening Nova, but it requires relatively high APM and class knowledge (lower than awak warr though). Comparable or a bit worse is Succession Ninja, same APM as awakening warrior. Classes that are extremely good while also being low apm and low class knowledge required: Woosa, Maegu, Succession Berserker, Succession Hashashin, Succession Tamer, Succession Lahn, in no particular order. From the lot, the strongest AND easiest should be succession berserker.

I used to do old Biceptimus' PvE combo that he used for his old guide, and for now I'm having the sensation that I'm dealing more damage with that combo but I guess I'm not doing yours quickly enough or properly, cause it shouldn't be that way. It would be much easier if the game had an option to have some sort of feedback of the damage you're dealing so I can see what am I doing wrong in this kind of situations, but I guess I'll just keep practising it.
@@Thyden23 Your best bet is picking a mob that is tanky and seeing for yourself. I'm certain my combo is the best sustained DPS that exists for Awakening Warrior.

@@Bloodshot_IV No, it's an unprotected float with air attack and relatively small hitbox. Bigger than balance strike but smaller than overwhelm.

I can't use servering thrust after frenzied strike? what am I doing wrong? I have it unlocked and learned.
You need to put in in a quickslot and use it from there. For example, I have mine on number 4, so every time I press 4 I use the skill.
