He's on a good run but just beat 2 old, past-it WWs - I'm gonna need to see him against a legit prime WW around the top 5, before I label him a ln actual title contender. So that's why I don't want to see him fight Usman next. Smart call by him, but that would be 3 old WWs in a row, tbh it would be a weak road to a title shot. I'd like to see him vs someone like Garry or Brady next
And noticed he didn’t call out Garry or shavkat fights that would for sure get him a title shot he called out belal which everyone knows he’s not getting then Leon and usman who are past their prime
@@Chosen-MalHe knows it's inevitable that he will fight them being they're younger fighters. It's smart to get the legends on ur resume before they're done
Buckley vs Belal would be a good matchup in 2025 both have now put in dominant performances in their last fights. Shavkat bested Garry aswell, also matches up well with Belal and Buckley
I would say give him Leon next and headline London. He came out of that fight with Covington pretty unscathed for a quick turn around. Also I want to point out that his path to the to is similar if not the same as Sean Brady, Shavkat, Ian, and JDM. They’ve all have beaten the guys who were at the top of the division for years. Buckley beaten a former interim champion and title challenger in Wonderboy and Covington, JDM and Brady beat a former title challenger in Gilbert Burns, and Brady also beaten a former title challenger in Gastelum who albeit hasn’t been what he once was since his loss to Izzy. But my main thing he’s essentially in the same spot as everyone else and we can’t sit here and pretend that Shavkat didn’t finish an old Wonderboy and Geoff Neal 😭😭 simply put I would put Buckley’s stoppages over Covington and Thompson over the other new gen fighter that was mentioned
He shouldn't get a title fight off beating a short notice, washed guy who has 0 significant wins in the last 5 years. Give Buckley Gerry next. That's great fight.
Ian Garry vs Buckley on same card as a co-main to Belal vs Shavkat.
Winner of of co-main faces new champ.
"Big ass titties!" has my dying like a middle schooler going through puberty 😂
Buckley vs Beal‼️

Does Buckley beat Holland at 170 now?
