I've played with my hg3s quite a bit. for the fronts spin the top cap all the way down to make the shock shorter, you will notice that you get full travel of the shock. I'm running reve d HT yellow springs up front and the od twin spring 5 coil in the rear. length on the rears will depend on the shock tower and arm position. I like a lot of forward bite so my rears are pretty much vertical on the widest mounting options possible. settings will very obviously, but I run on p-tile mainly. weight is 1520 and bias is 70 rear 30 front. full option galm (besides the battery mount sadly). I run #15 in the rear and #10 in the front. I've noticed that a lot of people actually are running 15 front and 20 rear as of recently with really soft springs. those rear yokomo LTS springs are amazing too. but ride Hight will pretty much be non adjustable. happy tuning nezo! hope your loving the galm!
Aww yiss excellent infos and advice! I will these things for sure as I am happily experimenting with the Galm :D We are polished concrete but go get onto the P-Tile once and a while now :D LTS springs 0o0o0o spicy lol :D I will report back either here or in a video with tuning info and stuff later on :D
Just curious about the overdose shocks spring, they came with 5,6,7 coils, is it representing soft, medium and hard? . I’m planning to get one just wanted to know your opinion which way to go. That’s definitely looks gorgeous, it looks so good on your purple setup 😁
Yiss the spring coils do relate to soft med and hard. I keep forgetting the way they are defined so thank you to @EqualibryumFilms for the clarification :D
It's not possible without heavily squishing the o-ring to go thru the bottom of the shock body which is generally much smaller in diameter than the top side, barely double the width of the actual shock shaft. Even if you insert the shaft into the body with the o-ring already in place from installing on the top of the shock shaft you would then struggle massively to install the e-clips and the shock piston.
How are these compared to Yokomos? And I’m looking forward to an SD 2.0 video. Would love to see you build the slide rack. I just got the SD 2.0 and my slide rack has slop lol. My first Yokomo chassis so it’s all new to me.
I just kept adjusting the eccentric bolts little by little until I got it where I wanted it. Can take some time though, depending on how much of a perfectionist you are :D
The eccentric bolts / cam lobes have a small indent indicator on them and you set the 2 back ones to face the rack straight on and you set the front single indicator as close to the face of the slide rack as possible with the rack binding. I will be doing a constructor's digest video soon :)
This was so helpful when I was building mine, thank you

Perfect timing, I just got one 😁

@@JAM-vu3ol 5 would be the hardest and 7 would be the softest.

Ohh yeah theyre beautiful!!!!
yisssssssssssss I love thems :D
Why not put the o-ring from the top side of the shaft(no threads) to avoid scratching it before placing the alum ring+piston?

What size dual springs did you use? 1.2 or 1.3? And how many coils? I’m trying to dial mine in and ordered all the dual springs lol
I believe I chose the 1.2 springs and the "soft' version, just can't remember the part number off hand
Awesome video went step by step for mine!
Heck yiss :D

You have to adjust the eccentric bolts. The manual explains how to do so.

The black shock is v2
Aww yiss thank you very much! :D
