@@gwan1714 but then why do they die when they fall in the water during a Turf War match? I mean you don’t see any steam or anything coming off the surface of it and when you fall in the ocean during the final boss in Octo Expansion it’s not hot water either. Sorry, but I’m just a bit confused.
@@katylepetsos7512 Not as in boiling, just hot. Remember how splatoon takes place after humans get wiped out by global warming? The earth is still h o t, and the oceans and water left outside gets hot fast but for example natural rain wouldn't be hot, so they could survive in it and water they have in bottles gets insulated or something similar (maybe some futuristic tech that keeps the water from getting hot)(the method in which they use to keep water from getting hot isn't in the book/hasn't been translated) (source was a slightly translated Japanese exclusive splatoon book I can't remember the name of since I can't read Japanese characters) I hope that clears it up a bit
