Thank you for talking about the power supply feature. I've been looking all over the Internet and almost nobody talks about it. I've recently picked up a hota F6, 4-channel, and although it's not labelled power supply in the menu, it is talked about in the documentation and I do have control over the output power. Was really nice to see somebody actually using it for the purposes that I need it for. I don't have room for a bench power supply nor do I want to spend $80 on one just so I can test the odd component. Just ordered some alligator clips and xt60 so I can make up my own cord. 👌
It's also very nice to be able to power up your quad with the correct voltage, and just enough current to spin the motors without damaging anything. You can even power it up without taking the props off if you set the current low enough. Something like 5A is low enough to not get hurt. It's also very nice for calibrating the current meter.
For sure the best charger out there and has been for a minute!

I have the hobbymate duo it’s a great charger, same stuff different branding. I charge 8 batteries at a time 4 on each port easily.

Isn’t it a problem to charge up first if the diff between say all the first cells across the batteries is greater than .15? (e.g.: cells 2, 3, & 4 could all be at 3.8 on both batteries but cell 1 may be at 3.6 of battery one and cell 1 may be at 3.78 of battery two...making the total average diff much smaller but the balance cell diff of cell one above .15 and causing risk of backwards flow?)...maybe not the place for a tech convo about how cells are balanced & charged... 😂
Yeh if the cells are more than .15v apart I’d personally still try one or 2 balance charges on that pack (by itself) to see if it is savable by the next charge cycle. Generally tho one cell being off is indicating an issue and gotta be careful to not 💥

It all about how could one small rotary encoder has ruined the entire device. The wheel selector on my ISDT Q6 has failed after the first month. But 4 buttons on my "kokam power station" works fine more than 15 years.
Before I decide this is the definitive charger in the world also for me, an alien, please happy guy, give me your last tip.
If the max cut-off voltage [End voltage] the user is allowed to choose in the voltage list of the menu, for Li-HV is 4.40V, what is the max V inside that strange generic LiXX?
This because I always overcharge my Li-HV added on Inspire 2 and I need a cut-off voltage not below 4.45V.
I a begin to think this great charger is not the right one for me.

you can charge as many lipos as you want technically by daisy chaining parallel ports, i do 20 sometimes.

Does it have an Overcharge Protection build in? Or the Output goes off at the final Voltage ? Can't find the Informationen.
it has a setting to charge the pack(s) completely then it goes on standby, it has other settings if you want to balance cells to a specific voltage you can enter that and it will charge to whatever voltage you want. also can discharge to specific voltages of your choosing. ALSO can output specific voltages and amps to be used as a power source for bench testing.

try flashing the newest firmware form their site, even if you already have. I flashed it once and my option went away, flashed again and its back. I contacted them about this as well but they're in denial that it happens to people lol

I broke my d6 pro charger screen😭. Is there any way to fix it

Had Hota version, AC stopped working after few months, bangood won't refund 😭 Don't know if would take take the risk now of getting another one...
send it to HOTA, i had a subscriber have an issue i told him to email them and they replaced it.
@@MaxBeamer yeah, I’ve actually emailed them about it. Was a bit hard to find their details though. But they did get back and said they can just send me the power supply part, which I’m cool with If they do.
