Hi max only just seen your message on here yes am looking forward to running most of my locos up and down the incline lol am hoping next few weeks they will run cheers Paul
Super to see you back 👍 Your home made flock looks ìmpressive. Viaduct scene has much potential, How about an almost dried up river bed with just a trickling stream running between a single arch to side with the campsite alongside it? Your layout, Your hobby, Your choice 👍 Regards Jason #MRYCG
Nice update and great to have you back. Viaduct is looking good. If you wanted to go a bit crazy with it then you could have the river with a path alongside it, and then you could have a railway line running through one of the side ones to give the impression of a branchline. But its completely up to you. Take your time with it all and make sure you enjoy it in the process. Give the shed a good clean up and have a fresh start.
Cheers Jamie shed needs a clean going to do in next week I was thinking of a line with a abandoned line with some old loco on it maybe the old eurostar I've seen a video on here with a video of the loco am not going to ruch this now because I want it to look great am glad am back in too the hobby like I've said it's a hobby that's all cheers Paul
Hi, you are doing a great job, have more confidence in yourself... The viaduct is starting to look amazing. I love the idea of a river bikers track, the ground in the side arches will need to be higher though as water would naturally cover any low ground. The other thing to consider is where does the water come from and go to? Poss an arch cut or painted on through the viaduct on to the back board behind like an underground river?? Personally I would cover the polystyrene with papier mache (strips), but equally you could blend paper, water and PVA to make your own sculptamould type product. Squeeze out the water its brilliant, takes days to dry, just like the foliage. Brilliant stuff. Ive made my own its just as good. Im watching with great interest. YOU’RE DOING A FANTASTIC JOB, its a hobby relax and enjoy. Really hoping thats helpful!
Thanks for the comment I've seen a video with someone has used toliet paper and made a river from that I could do a stream like Jason said a campsite is looking good up too know but I'll keep watching TH-cam videos and see what I come up with cheers Paul
Hi and good to see you back at this fab hobby,, like mentioned below, one or two drier slow moving river bed will look great or a bit deeper through both centre ones and have a small river boat or two.....like you say its a hobby and your 'mind eye' is best......your choice matey....cheers Ian
Hi Great to see you back and the ground cover is fantastic. And i agree with you it's a hobby so enjoy what you do and we shouldn't criticise but help in the comments. Colin
Hi Paul Good to see an update from you and you're now working on the layout again :-) Ive been struggling myself with getting time to work on the layout and for the foreseeable future I can't see any updates being made.... :-( The green bushes you've made look great. For the viaduct, search up Black Country Blues layout on here and have a look at how they've done it, that's another idea... Cheers bud Paul :-)

NEW BRENTLEA JUNCTION yes exactly lots of possibilities. Toilet paper, tissue is great idea, keep it wavy, not choppy for realism sake. Have fun.
