I think they're trying to make a point that legendaries need to have some sort of special different key gimmick, hitman dosent have much besides the flicker jab and was by far the most bland legendary so i could see why it got a rarity drop. Maybe if it gets a rework it will move back up
"rework" What is there to rework? Its exactly what its supposed to be just like the anime? Which special gimmick would u give hitman that wouldnt be unfair? Yeah it was bland sure but it could still knock down any skilled player as long as the hitman knew how to adapt. The only thing i have against It being a mythic is how god awful boring the game will get once people realize they can easily get it (ngl Mythics are rarer than considering the game decides to give me chronos, 2 ghosts and a hawk but wont give me my ippo back.)
@@G0S0EAVEN " "rework" What is there to rework? " a LOT, a BUNCH of stuff is wrong with Hitman. If you actually thinked for a second, you'd understand why Hitman needs a rework, it's a style with alot of potential, fan favorite (both the stance + character), ALOT of flaws (one sided m1s / m2s, for a example), the WORST movement between all styles, doesn't have a very good arsenal, it's a style that is only good if you know how to abuse rollback (any style is like that, but hitman relies on that the most) and you literally admitted that, Hitman, is a very bland style, but i could list more flaws. Also it isn't like in the anime (and that's also a very bad point you made, as Chronos (the slowing time part of it) + Freedom aren't in the anime, only in the manga + game) as Mashiba uses flicker jabs to maintain the control in the middle of the ring and tear through his opponents' guard, meanwhile, in the game, you pressure both guard and health on the CORNER, while positioning is forgotten for most of the time (only when you're backing away, really). As for the "but it could still knock down any skilled player", this is only possible because of rollback and perfect dodging being a thing (alot of styles get 90% of their usefulness due to pdging, but it's irrelevant to bring this topic), because any "skilled player" just needs to side dash the jab lmfao, the m2 is slow as shit so it's not like you can't react to it, anyone who is considered good can see the jab coming from a mile away "Which special gimmick would u give hitman that wouldnt be unfair?" ...The flicker jabs?? jwordz did a concept video suggesting what could be done. There's so much to do with flicker jabs but you think Hitman can only be that, the lame m1 string machine, just take shotgun for a example, it's the outboxing style that hitman needs to be, as long as you have the middle, you're the dominant in the ring, there's so many ways to make Hitman be the most menancing outboxer-style in the game, but it's just lame. Because it was a style that not only was depicted wrong, it was also a boring ass style (m1 string, S, wait for whiff, punish, like current hitman, Iron fist is literally old Ippo), but i don't see you complaining about it (even though you are a Ippo main, assuming from your last statement)? tldr; Hitman is one of the worse styles in the game, not because it's weak, but because it's just boring to use , annoying to fight against, and being the most lame former-legendary in the game (also oldest), it deserves a rework, not a buff, nor a nerf. There's alot more boring styles like counter, smash, long guard and corkscrew, but that's another topic.

Agree.
Yeah but it still needs a rework
Surely deserves one
Agreed, hitman does not need a buff, just a skill issue with some players.
usually hitman does not do much damage in the anime but they made it do more in game
