As much as I love watching the pro's race, it made a refreshing change to see how a normal biker handles these courses. Well done for having a go, and having the courage to put it out there for the world to see.
@mtbpap sounds good. Been riding 25 yrs.. Just launching my own channel. Tons of video to edit and add the next few weeks. Check it out if you can. More to come.
Juat checking to see what courses they used last year. WOW totally different than 7 years ago when I did it (and was sore for the rest of the SOC). Is it the GoPro effect or are stages 2,3,4 rather, uh, FLAT? Good job and I know just what it feels like to breathe that heavily (and crash)! I just signed up for the 60+ 2024 and I hope they have a more gravity-fed course!! The climb up Barloy Canyon did suck while still being on a timed tranfer stage between 3 and 4 (DS couse back then)_....won't miss that..
Nice job. Gives this 52 year old inspiration to enter my first race.
Thank you. It’s fun, even if you are in the back of the field 🤙🏻
Bravo !

Thanks for the kind words. If you just watched Bernard Kerr or Matt Jones runs, and then you watch mine, for sure you’ll think I filmed in slow-mo 😛
Mocarny zawodnik 👍
awesome job bro! Love it.
Thanks man. It’s until you race you finally know you are slow. That’s my take on that race. I had a great time though!
Good job man!
Thanks for the support. Wish I was quicker, but at least I wasn’t last!
Hey. Just subscribed. Good videos. Done some races but never Sea Otter. I'm just getting started at @Chat MTB...
Thank you. Sea Otter doesn't have the most fun trails, but the event is a must go, at least once.

Except for the DH stage, courses are pretty flat. More cross country than Enduro!
👏🏼
Nice work ... what do you think your skill level is ? I think those trails fit my riding style
I define myself as an intermediate rider. Means I can pretty much ride any trails, just not super fast.
@@mtbpap I think I'm the same ... I'm mid 40s and starting to get faster ...
I raced you😉 nice videos 🙏
You are much faster than me looking at your results. Good job 👏🏻
Thanks for the video dude! If you practice some turns and lay-off the brake a little bit you’ll make some huge improvements
Since then, I now have a pro coaching me how to go faster on the turns. 🤘🏻
