Fire Mountain is over that way. I personally haven't ridden it yet but I've been wanting to, place looks really cool. Also Berm Park isn't too terribly far away and those trails are a good time
I’ve been riding road bikes for few years. Tore my knee ligaments in motorcycle accident, still recovering. Just got a Stumpjumper Evo LTD. I never rode mountain bike downhill. I want to try Sugar mountain park, how difficult is it for someone never tried it?
They have a great green tail and a dedicated lift for a beginner area which is super cool. Sugar would be great for your first time. And if you're making the trip to sugar there is also beech MTN close by that also has a great green trail and their blue trails aren't as technical. I have a video on beech here: th-cam.com/video/_g8idh4ciQU/w-d-xo.htmlsi=JqRILhgg1Bz4VquN
Dang sadly they will be closed after this weekend until the first weekend of July. Not sure why they do this honestly but it happens every year. Beech MTN will be open though and their trails are running great!
Sugar Mountain looks terrible this year. Last year was better than this. I just got back from Beech Mountain a few days ago. It seems to be in a lot better shape.
Yeah opening day it was running pretty bad. Whenever they reopen next month I'm hoping it will be better. Looks like they are putting a lot of work in on their socials so fingers crossed!
Sickkkk! please take me next time you go to like kanuga or rock creek
Jeeez, those trails look HELLA eroded from those storms compared to closing time last year. Thats wild.
They definitely are in need of some love 😬
Coming up from Miami end of June with our crew. Thanks for the video
Be advised sugar is closed for June and reopen July 4th. Not sure why they do that but Beech MTN is open!
Beech looks to be the better choice right now. I just got back from Beech.
I would not survive those rocky trails on my fork, but otherwise this does look fun! The flow trails looked really cool.
Are there any decent downhill trails in southern part of nc like Bryson City?

Was planning on riding June 6-9
