Missed a few secret corridors, but most of all; can't believe no spells were used! That was the most fun thing about this game. The cleric (priest) could cast a rotating ball of spheres that would encircle her and absorb damage. The wizard could also cast spells (lightning that would seek out and encircle any creature). If would be the main reason for choosing either of those two characters!
I remember dumping quarters into this thing back in '89 in 6th grade at a casino in Reno. Probably the best music of any game back in the day, and of course the priest is THE best class to play ;)

Once I wasn't old enough to gamble, but I went for the arcade anyway, the next time I played a lot of Metal Slug when an ex-girlfriend and I went to see Cheech and Chong live.
Yes, Cadash was released in the US arcades by Taito. There are 2 home versions of the game, one for the SEGA Genesis (but only has 2 characters) & NEC Turbo-Grafx 16 (but no continues).
The game was actually released in several other languages too. Also, the original arcade version is available in the Taito Legends 2 collection, which was released on Xbox and on Windows. PS2 version for some reason doesn't have it.
Best get yourself a Mame emulator and download the arcade rom. The Snes version is not as good as the Genesis, especially in regards the music. But sadly, those console versions do NOT have the priest or ninja, which honestly are the two best classes to play.
Love the graphics a video game for me gotta be like this or else.... I don´t dig it much :D - 224 max vertical Res, YM2203/2151 FM synth music/sound and 2D!

This demo was a good play through and had got the game beat without dying. However, I'm just wondering, why was much of the cleric's spells not used like the shield spell? It would have been quite a bit easier and with far better results.
This is an RPG style arcade, and much better looking than the Castlevania released in arcades two years earlier (Haunted Castle), at least the hero doesn't walk like she needs to take a dump badly.
