      @@Anthonyj.Manttaneverything is a choice, and choice isn’t a matter of your balance sheet. Everyone has a budget. You pay your bills, pay for what sustains you, put money into savings for the first two things I mentioned, and with what’s left that’s when you help others by donating to charities, giving gifts, or treating you and your family to some luxuries. You don’t need a $1500 cell phone, fiber optic internet, the premium cable package, or buying the cheapest Rolex. Anyone who does that is projecting an image, they’re selfish and they envy people who have more than they do. Do you have any idea how many domestic abuse shelters would love a donation? The people who manage mutual aid funds wouldn’t say no to any kind of donation either. The UN needs plenty of help. Millions of kids around the world have malnutrition and in the US there are several TV networks dealing with food and cooking, not to mention food eating contests where the person who eats the most food the fastest wins a prize. That’s why ET doesn’t visit us, we’re selfish assholes!

    • @BederikStorm
      @BederikStorm 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Envy made the rent to go up. People move to cities with more opportunities, this situation creates more demand on housing, landlords drive the rent cost up, so, they can afford luxurious life. It is all what he talks about. Look at the companies that produce food - their management brings prices up just so they can have huge bonuses. That's envy, cause they see other competitors do the same.

    • @rwfrench66GenX
      @rwfrench66GenX 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @@BederikStorm I believe your example isn’t fully considering the full picture or defining terms properly. First, you said people move to cities where there are more opportunities. If that premise is true and a given city is experiencing growth the commercial real estate industry would also grow. More apartment complexes would be built, large companies that own networks of apartment complexes would buy existing apartment complexes and renovate those complexes to make their apartments look nicer and have more amenities. Competition to get people to lease apartments and recover the cost of renovating or building the complex is creating all kinds of jobs in the local economy. You have construction obviously, construction materials sales, bank loans, insurance to cover the bank loans, utilities companies have to increase their capacities and run new infrastructure for electric, water and sewer, you need building permits, licenses, you always need accountants and auditors, advertising, sales, security, landscaping, and a lot more. All of those people work, get a paycheck, spend money at the local grocery store, clothes store, gas stations, gyms, hair salons, pharmacies and so on. Everyone is supporting everyone else, and all paychecks are paying taxes for Medicare, Medicaid, CHIP, Tri-Care, VA Benefits and Prison Bureau health insurance, Social Security, NASA, and everything else in the government. If a landlord raised rent without doing any renovations or adding any amenities that would defined as greed not luxury, but you can always go to a different apartment complex, buy a house through HUD, or get a roommate.

    In many cases, envy can lead to irrational decisions and unnecessary stress, as we constantly compare ourselves to others instead of focusing on our own goals and contentment. I feel 00000 envy. Never felt it don't know what it is. But I'm the most prime example of a man being hunted down because of envy. I always help people make sure they're okay. Try to avoid people I don't like and vice versa. But through out my life a lot of people were envious of the man I can become, the potential I carry. Even now after decimating me to ashes they're envious. One can leave people alone but doesn't mean people will leave you alone especially if they're envious of you. Indeed the world is driven by envy. Human hearts can't be tamed with love. The worse part is most people don't wanna be great, they just make sure others live like the peasants they are and pass their days the same way. They fail to fathom some people are incapable of living that mundane existence. Real politics is dead and envy killed it. Social media has big part in it. It has ruined the youth. Misled them. But most of these people way too blind to realize their envy is the only reason the Ummah the Muslim community is lagging behind. Plato had said if philosophers were kings or kings were philosophers the world would've been a good place. They're certainly those among us. But at the end of the day envy will make anything or anyone fall. All root of downfall of man, nations, dynasties.

Enter more recent commentaries by the likes of the famed also Harvard educated Psychologist, Jordan Peterson, and the various clips on YT about his arguing with this of that news reporter and the fussing done by cited reporters about some not having the latest in Limousine cars. Because humans are always evolving and the people at the top are moving forward and the people at the bottom are getting killed and their genes eliminated from the world. So if one brotherhood family is getting more and more stuff, the brotherhood family who has less is getting closer to being offed. That's the truth of life. Animals dont necessarily want more things or want to evolve further. But they want to survive. And a difference in having things is a representation of the group evolving, along with everything that comes with that. So we need to be envious to survive.
