Jon has been wanting to try more of the Pot Noodle flavors after seeing Beard Meet Food eat all the flavors in ONE SITTING!! Come along with us as we try out these surprise goodies!
After many requests for our mailing address we've gone ahead and rented a P.O.Box! If you feel like dropping us a letter or card or whatever send it here:

Who else in the UK wants a pot noodle after watching this ???
Watching at 1230am and craving a pot noodle right now! 😋
I was eating a Pot Noodle (Bombay Badboy) when this popped up in recommendations, how did youTube know??
Me
Yeah
I'm so hungry
Also chicken and mushroom is a way of life in the UK
Ikr
mate pretty much only good one
It’s good but Bombay bad boi 😩👌🏻❤️🔥
It definitely is
Beef and tomato is the best
you know what. most Americans think our food is bland ,.
but you and your family are open minded to trying new things,
so you have earned yourself a new subscriber
What's interesting is that I think the mistake is having tons of spice whereas in the uk we are very savoury an salty with a few different spices
Always chicken and mushroom
beef & tomato
Agreed
Noodles and crisps aside...you too seem like the chillest parents ever. You both seem lovely
And all the pot noodles are suitable for vegetarians. It’s just flavour
The meaty bits are soy protein.
Chicken and mushroom is a staple in everyone’s pantry/cupboard! That and sticky rib are by far my favourites
There's a fine art to making a pot noodle and you broke rule no1 by removing the foil lid. You need to recover once you add water
Loool mastered this habbit too late in life. Dunno how i loved semi crispy noodles so much.
😂yep
agreed
The watery sauce made me sad too. NEVER follow the guides.
The rule is only add enough water to barely cover the noodles (never go anywhere the suggested level line!) recover with the foil, stand for about three to four minutes then add the sauce, stir and eat.
Chicken and Mushroom is the most popular one, probably cause it’s also one of the oldest. You see it in the shops more than the other ones. I’ve never seen the Chicken Korma one before
You need to try branagans crisp. Roast beef & mustard , lamb & mint , ham & pickle
Roast beef and mustard brannigans are sensational
Lamb & mint hands down my fave crisp flavour 👍
We will have to look for those! ❤Jess
You got good taste
Yes mate Branagans Beef & Mustard Crisps are for winners 👏👏
There is a lot noodle law that even the creators of pot noodles doesn't follow never rip the lid fully off you use the lid for I isolation always dip bread inside 😁😁😁
Same! Thought it was just me!
Bread and butter noodle sarnies! 😋
Wow!!!!! This is unreal!! Look how young the kids look...esp Jaime!!! Ohhhh. Cant wait fir the noodles!!
You pronounce it 'wooster' sauce in my part of the UK
Daves Life Hacks same here im in wales tho 🏴
And we usually don't say the 'shire' part of it either... just the Wooster part. Most in the UK just say Wooster sauce.
Same here, giz the wusta sauce bab
Bless the little guy, he got closest, woostecher
I live there and I prenaonce it wuster I swear when ppl say Worcester it triggers me lol
This is the video that made me buy a gigantic 12-pack meant for supermarkets. I have no regrets.
I’m glad you enjoyed these.
There was a Cheese and Tomato flavour in the early to mid 90's if my memory is right. It tasted like Pizza and came with a sachet of parmesan. It didn't really take off but in my opinion it was easily the best flavour they ever did. Current flavours... Bombay Badboy is a tough one to beat.
I love how respectful you are about the food x
Thanks, we try to be!
Hiya guys! Lily and I watch you every day on my lunch break. As soon as your music starts she plops herself down and watches! Lol. Miss ya!
It's so interesting to see your reaction on these foods hope you all enjoyed your experience.
We like the Bombay bad boys but we twist the flavour by adding a heaped teaspoon of peanut butter in at the start it make the sauce creamy and give you a satay style of curry, my wife has also started doing it to her chicken and mushroom and it really works there aswell.
The little lad made me smile because I remember catching my, then 17 year old, son fishing around in his dry Pot Noodle with a fork before making it..asked him what he was doing and he says he was 'weeding out the peas, cos I don't eat anything green!' lol..there was probably only two in there...he is now 39, 6ft 4 inches and ex RAF, so not eating veggies as a teen doesn't seem to have had any detrimental effect.. :)
Haha that's just like my youngest son.
just started watching your food Friday and to be honest out of all the American food testers you are by far the best ive seen on youtube love the reviews of them all congrats BIG THUMBS UP from WALES
Thank you! We appreciate the kind words! ❤Jess
Worcester is more or less "Wooster". Same as Worcester in Massachusetts, USA, which is probably named after the original.
4 years late, but my favourite has always been Bombay badboy, used to eat 2 king sized a night when I worked night shifts.
It’s Wuss-ter Sauce. Please try lea and perrins worcestershire sauce on cheese on toast.
You need to toast decent white bread in the toaster, smash some good salted butter on like Lurpack then add a grated English Chedder Cheese and 4 table spoons of the Worcester Sauce then grill it until the cheese has fully melted.
You will thank me 👍
Sounds good to me!
Now you're talking
Tablespoons ??? think u mean teaspoons (5ml)
I’m just skipping through till they try chicken and mushroom
In a Study "Pot Noodle" HAS Less Nutrients than Wet Cardboard! But i Love Them As well!
Wuss-terr-shurr
I love these reactions. I'm from UK and love seeing people try our food x
Just found your families videos. Fantastic watch for our lockdown life. Hope you are all well. Best wishes from the UK
Glad you found us! We have a lot of fun here!
there was a very nice cheese one as well. Chicken and shroom is a classic. good video guys!
My fav is sweet and sour. I had this for lunch today. I didnt finish it and its been sitting on my bedroom floor for 9 hours with 1 third left in it. I came here to get myself eating the rest as I hate wasting food. It's cold but smells lovely
What is it about watching Americans eating British food that soothes me so much? I could watch it happening for days at a time.
Glad this showed up in my recommendations, great channel
Thanks!
bom bay bad boy def my fav. the best part is when the noodles are gone and you get to drink the spicy sauce at the end. great when you have a cold clears your nose from running
I have lurpak butter on bread and dip it in the sauce mmmmmmmmmmmm
So one of the things kids love to do in england is "pop the bag" of crisps. With a bit of practice you can clap your hands around them bag and open the crisps through pressure. You want to clap in an up and inwards motion so the top seal opens.
Woostersheer or woostershur is how it's pronounced.
By the way, it's more likely that the pressure differences popped the bags when the plane took off / landed than the beating of the box. I've had a few bags pop in my suitcase before now.
I always love watching you, and that your family are so good at trying food from anywhere. Even your children are so open to new things. I hope you would manage to visit us in the UK one day!
Thanks! We'll end up there some day for sure!
It’s funny how our British trinkets are much loved across the pond. Hi from east London!
Who else was eating a pot noodle while watching this?
tabotrix gaming i finished one and was curious what Americans think of them
Love your videos you seam like such a great family so far i have eaten all the foods you have as I live in the uk
the crisps are not really regional it's just a sales gimmick, you can buy all flavours in every region
Well that's good the last promotion they did like this in the US the chips were only available in the regions they were from. So we could never try all the flavors, very disappointing! -Jess
Totally disagree with what the favourites for each region were too! You never see the ketchup flavour crisps for example so not sure how they're a favourite lol
Just got recommended this video after watching a kitchen nightmares thing. Seem like a great family, and I'm liking this idea of foreign food Friday's.. just subscribed, have a nice day! :D
I love knowing what videos lead folks to us! Thanks for checking us out! ❤Jess
Hi guys. I'm from the UK and have just found your channel. .. and I'm addicted. What a wonderful family.... love your videos and I'm also following you on Facebook. Looking forward to more ... keep it up guys. 😊
Awesome! Thank you very much! We appreciate the support!
Also as a brit I'd be more than happy to recommend national foods your folk should try. Lots of delicacies that might turn your stomach, sure, but some that even the young'uns would love.
I just put pot noodles on my shopping list, I didn't know there were so many flavours. Thanks Americans!
I’m from the UK 🇬🇧 and love the videos, the Korma one is lovely, ❤️🇬🇧
wuster sauce
I’d have to say that Chicken and mushroom is the original, and possibly still the best. The other big sellers originally were beef and tomato and curry flavour. The Bombay bad boy is more recent but a real big seller also. All are good but I think right now the favourites in the UK are usually either the chicken and mushroom or the Bombay Bad-boy. I haven’t ate in about 3 hours and now I’m hungry!.
Our videos tend to have that effect! Thanks for watching and the comments! -Jess
Ngl love a pot noodle with a baguette. I take out the stuffing of the bread and stuff the Baton with the noodles. The stuffing that is left I use to soak up the bread. So good after a hangover
I don't know if they still do it but they used to do a fish pot noodle which was God awful
@@unknownphillis3794 that sounds disgusting hahahaha but now i have to try it.
@@dazo69 tbh something else I'd make Coz it was supper cheap is dried egg noodles boiled in normal water. Drained n rinsed. Toss in mayo. Up to u hm u put but it was peng
great video I'm sitting hear drinking a cup off tea and eating a curry pot noodle most british thing ever
They did a Mac and cheese pot noodle, it was to die for
Love your videos love from the UK
I’m from the UK and the Midlands and it makes me so happy you like smoky bacon crisps 😂
love your video! x
Omg I love marmite.
Greetings to your family.
A well wisher from Ireland 🇮🇪
Love watching you guys 😁
Thanks!
Watching years later but I’m from the Uk. My favourite is the original curry tastes abit like Bombay bad boy but sweeter without the spice, or chow mien! Nice to see you guys enjoy some of the food items we produce though! Fab! Xxx
Wooster (as in wood) is my favourite along with prawn cocktail, if you get a bottle of Lee and Perrins Worcester sauce and squirt some in the bag that's the best, then you drink it from the bag when youve finished
Mine are beef and tomato as been for years even when they was called golden wonder pot noodles. I add more tomato sauce to it I've even put brown sauce with tomato it gives it a kick. I do like chicken and mushroom as well.
A table of pot noodles is my heaven 😋🔥
Worcestershire pronounced Wuss (as in he was a wuss) tur shur. Thanks all. Love foreign food Fridays.
It's not pronounced Wussturshur. It's pronounced Wusster Sauce. You don't say the end part FFS.
@Greg W, no it’s not. You do say the end part. FFS 🙄
Maybe it depends on where you live in the UK, not everyone in the UK say the same words the same way
Greg W I thought you were right but now I've said it so many times in my head I can't remember how it's really said
@@Leanne_w It depends if you're talking about Worcester the city or Worcestershire the region. Some people do say Worcester sauce and others say Worcestershire sauce.
Spicey curry pot noodle is my favorite (you did not have it), and I sometimes eat it dry (with no hot water, lovely)..
Pot noodles,, boiling water to the line indicated,, replace tinfoil top to steam noodles,,, wait a few minutes stir n add sauce,,, stir ,, enjoy,,, a lot of people don’t cover while cooking,, which leaves some noodles hard slightly... just a hint... 🤤
Hi guys. I’m impressed you managed to miss the original curry flavour as that’s the most common one by far over here in the UK - nice to see what you guys think over the pond to some of our food though!
I live about 5 miles from the factory that makes pot noodle is wales.. big fan of chicken and mushroom
Lovely family enjoying our Pot Noodles! You're missing one classic flavour there - Original Curry. Right on! Beef & Tomato is the worst! Chicken & Mushroom, Original Curry, and Bombay Bad Boy, are the best. Mop up excess sauce with a piece of buttered bread, and wash it down with a cup of tea.
i love love love beef and tomatoe pot noodle with a slice of bread and butter
My favourite is the beef an tomato I always put extra tomato sauce in it though in the years the flavour has lacked they were amazing back in the day, an original curry pot noodle an the Bombay badboy 😍... kids love the chicken n mushroom flavour, use need to try a pot noodle butty nothing better than making a noodle sandwich yum
Smokey Bacon crisps on a sandwich are THE best, just bread, butter and smokey bacon crisps in between, yummy
Chicken and mushroom and beef and tomato are the original flavours I believe.
Got to love sweet and sour or chicken and mushroom pot noodles. Worcester sauce crisps are the best!
Pot Noodles are my favourite here in the UK I could actually live on the stuff especially chicken and mushroom
Beef and Tomato was my favourite, This was before I learned how to cook properly....
Me - Chicken & Mushroom, The Wife - Curry Flavour. You didn't have that one on test
There used to do a pot noodle called seedy Sanchez that was pretty good they also do chicken curry not like chicken Korma. Chicken Korma is the mildest curry you can get but still nice.
I remember the same company used to have a product line called Pot Rice, exactly the same as the Pot Noodle, just add hot water and add the little sachet of sauce. I preferred the rice version, but they've been discontinued. Also, there was a special Turkey & Stuffing flavour Pot Noodle that came out for Christmas one year.
@@sleepcrime I seen a few places selling the Pot Pasta, only seen one flavour and I wasn't too keen on it. I haven't seen Pot Rice for years though, not even in the big supermarkets.
I love your videos literally watched about 10 in a row lol I just love how much you appreciate the food unlike other American tries UK food who can just be rude.
We don't watch other Americans try UK food, lol don't want to taint our reactions! But we have heard that before. Glad you enjoy them! Hope you subbed so you can see when we do more! ❤Jess
@@BigJonTV yes I have subbed
Thanks! We appreciate it!
Yes, a korma is a coconut based curry that is popular in England.
Here in the UK bacon isn't quite as popular as it is in the states, so those chips aren't very popular, they're usually still full stock in stores. Cheese and onion, salt and vinegar and ready salted are among the most popular. I like sour cream and onion, as well as cheese and onion. Something about the bitterness and sourness of onion works really well on a chip, as though it cuts through the starch.
Walkers Crisps(Lays)my fav are Cheese and onion. But worst of it they at christmas brought out a Sprout flavour.
Fill the pot noodle at the level of the noodles no more as too much water ruins it, close the lid so it keeps in the steam when they are ready nice and thick sauce
pot noodles kept the welsh community in work after all the mines closed . This company is based in wales .
I love the chow mein, sweet and sour and chicken and mushroom.
Beef and tomato is the best 😍 even better in between 2 slices of toast 😍😍😍
Chicken & mushroom, but I haven't had a pot noodle in years, so am behind on the flavours.
But they do Pot Pasta as well, with pasta twists instead of noodles. The Cheese & Broccoli one is awesome.
Hopefully you can source some of our cured meats in the near future, our bacons and hams are amazing. My personal recommendation would be two slices of farm house white bread, three rashers of grilled British bacon with a dollop of HP brown sauce, trust me it will blow your mind.
You say it “Wuster”.. loved your reaction xxx
Worcester - woorstersheer sauce is how we say it in Essex. Great video again.
While I haven't tried all the Pot Noodle type, so far I would say Bombay is my fave (I will have to look out for chili beef).... of those crisp flavours Worcestershire was my fave.
I can't believe you didn't like the beef and tomato.
I agree it's not beefy but if you ever get to try again, I always add the tomato sauce and then a little soy sauce. Helps get the umami flavour thats missing.
Enjoyed this video, best regards
Luke. Wales, UK.
P. S. My favourites are the chicken and mushroom and beef and onion and the crisps have to be marmite or beef and onion.
My fav route pot noodle is hands down the Sweet Curry If you ever come to the Uk give that one a shot it was one of the original 3 along with Beef and tomato and Chicken and Mushroom and is so good.
Sticky Rib & Korma for me! Original Curry is quite popular in the UK even though it doesn't actually taste spicy, it has more of a carrot taste. This video has made me want to go and order a multi-pack of different flavours! Worcester & Pickled onion, spring onion & Cheese & Onion are the best walkers
Corma is a curry made with coconut milk, mild curry powder.
Chicken and mushroom is my fav but this video has made me want to try some more flavours good thing that I live in uk to do so
Straight up curry pot noodle (mustard coloured pot) has always been my choice. Don't add so much water, keep the lid on (pull lid half open only). Leave to immerse for 4 to 5 mins then add the sauce. Leave for a further 3 or 4 mins. Always keep the pot covered over wiv the lid till you eat. Unfortunately, pot noodles are very different nowadays to how they once were. They're a Welsh idea! Also, the mince in mince pies is called mince meat. 300 or so years ago actual meat was used along wiv fruits & spice's, though no longer. Love the beard! Hugs from SW England originally from LDN.
I’m from the uk just outside oxford, I live on these things at work, my favourite is the beef one
You eat whole bunch of pizza I love I love Uncle bahe how many Excel LX
Worcestershire is phonetically 'Wuh-ster-sher'. You really need to try the pickled onion walkers. Personally my favourite also made by walkers is the Monster Munch crisps. They are made from corn and come in pickled onion, roast beef and flamin' hot flavours: delicious!
My favourite is the chicken and mushroom bloody love it
i live in England and haven't heard of most of them. we only have chicken and mushroom. Beef and tomato, and chicken curry. i only like the chicken curry. i would love to try some of them you had. but have never seen them. x
Pot noodle sandwiches are the best! Also chicken and mushroom are the best 😁
Beef and Tomato, Chow Mein, and Original Curry, which you didn't have, are my favourites.
If you're wondering why it's sometimes Worcester or Worcestershire, Worcester is a town in Worcestershire and Worcestershire is a county in England, phonetically it would be Wus-ta for Worcester and
Wus-ta-shur for Worcestershire, where I come from Yorkshire, we don't really pronounce 'shire' how it spells, it's shur, sher or even sha😰 Wow, after all that I need me a chicken and mushroom pot noodle 😁
Sheer
