    Finally, we got to see Dave's backstory, I had a feeling he was on the Autistic Spectrum and it's starting to make sense on some of his traits. Also, the fire drill scene really hit too close to home since I get triggered over the alarm most of the time but yeah great video and very relatable

    • @MattTheGoAnimator
      @MattTheGoAnimator  2 ปีที่แล้ว +17

      And in fact, I used to be scared of fire drills when I was younger, especially in elementary school. When I was in second grade, either one of my special ed teachers or an instructional assistant would take me out of the building about 15 minutes before the alarm sounded.

    Here's a suggestion I have for you:
    Childish Dad wants to buy/buys a Cactus Plant Flea Market Box at McDonalds.
    If you don't know what it is, it's basically a Happy Meal for adults, which can allow Dave to have another happy ending after the bus. The box comes out on Monday

      Actually, OC has stated in her videos that Childish Dad’s behaviors are caused by a brain injury as a result of being dropped as a baby. This video (at least up to the middle school part) is likely a metaphor for this TH-cam user’s life-how he was diagnosed with autism and when he was first placed in special education.

    As someone who has Autism, I can understand Dave, I'm almost 15 and I still watch kid shows (like The Owl House, Amphibia, etc.) and pretty much once or twice a month, I would cry for little to no reason, even while I was going through puberty. I was also put in special ed class until like what, middle school, I think. If it wasn't for those people who gave my parents advice on how to help me overcome my Autism or those special ed classes that I took, I wouldn't be here today. I'm now in high school and taking collaboration sessions.

    Ms. Catherine’s face and voice is showing me that she doesn’t know that Dave was diagnosed with autism and anxiety disorders either Dave is private and Only would tell some people or maybe he forgot to tell his wife that he’s diagnosed with autism and anxiety disorders it sounds like some people face is showing me that some people doesn’t really know that Dave is diagnosed with autism and anxiety disorders causes him do not understand, that’s some places doesn’t always have the meals Dave wants and plus I’m 21 1/2 years old and I will be 22 in January 26 also I still watch kid shows even though I’m 21 1/2 but I watch Disney Channel and Nick Jr. and Disney junior I’m not too old for that show to be honest my parents and other people respect my opinion and respect peoples choice that it’s OK for some people to like watch kid shows for some people some don’t anymore, The smartest thing Dave have did is show the story because I know that Dave’s wife and his children want to figure how to help Dave I think if he tells them why he acts so whiny and childish I think this is more of a special-needs meltdown and so I think seeing the psychologist will help Dave change his behavior he doesn’t look like a bad person he just has special needs where it causes him to not understand anything, I have probably different autism or similar autism then Dave mine is classic autism and anxiety disorders, which causes me to also feel sensitive with feedback and causes me to not understand some things people say so I actually feel like Dave and the video is acting a little similar because I feel like this is a similar thing in common Dave have with me
