It's funny that gus wanted to give him exact change because of covid but the same guy that he didn't want dirty money from is the same guy that was giving him the frozen cokes
I don't think it was the guy that was the problem; it's the fact that money changes hands so much that Gus was concerned about.
an amc near me recently started offering slushie coke/dr pepper and more flavors, i understand gus's feeling, that stuff was heavenly. oh it was also a self serve machine, mix and match heaven .
but its at almost every gas station. im sure he could have found one in like 2 minutes

Frozen cokes are pretty good. Sad only select McDonald's have them (I can count all the McDonald's in my area on 2 hands that don't serve Frozen Cokes)

@@SteveTAGamer I think so? I haven't been to a Burger King in a while, but I think they serve their own versions of Frozen Cokes

here in Australia its a permanent menu item at every Maccas xD
@@SteveTAGamer Reporting back to this, Burger King and Taco Bell both have their own versions of frozen soda drinks
Edit: Also, the reason why some McDonald's don't have is due to both size and amount of customers

I like how more and more insane animated Gus was looking when he was mentioned that he was going to get his Fing Frozen Coke.
At that point, it makes me wonder why you wouldn't just go to a gas station or convenience store and get a Coke Icee. I mean aren't they basically the same thing as a "frozen coke"? I've never heard/seen the whole frozen coke from McDonalds deal but to me it just sounds like an Icee.
Frozen cokes essentially *are* Icees, but when Gus’ story takes place is important to why it was so hard to find one. Gus was trying to find one in February 2021, after several inches of snow and ice essentially paralyzed Texas and left millions without power and water.
Austin was under a boil water notice because water treatment plants had also lost power, and many convenience stores either didn’t have power or water.
Why not just get an fucking Icy instead?
Gus’ story takes place after the 2021 snowstorm and freeze. Some water treatment plants in Austin had problems and the whole city was under a boil water notice.
