When you moved the carriage to the right after knitting your ravel cord in, could this be achieved by removing the carriage from the left end and then fitting it back on the right end?
Yes you could should you prefer to remove the carriage and replace on the other end. I did this option to help learners get comfortable of with how to make what is know as a free pass. But also my knit master carriage is nowhere near as easy to remove from the bed as the brothers release function.
