It wasn't nearly as mainstream back then. We saw all the small core companies thriving with skateboarders who did it for the love. Now we have skateboarders who look more like they're worried about corporate sponsors than actually skateboarding for fun

I watched this part so many times back in the day, I honestly feel like this was the best era of skateboarding. Brings a tear of happiness to my eye. All I can say is, I'm glad I skated when I did, and I'm glad I stopped when I did also. Thanks and love to skateboarding always.
This is a classic. Jimmy Carlin in his prime was beautiful. Clean style but not too serious, with insane and original trick selection. This might be his magnum opus even tho it’s in a tour video lol, so sick
