We have a Jura machine at work, it’s a good machine! Just a tip with the water reservoir, try not to remove it every time it needs to be refilled - the little seal/plug that goes into the machine can become damaged. Try to always bring a jug of water to the machine and fill the reservoir while it’s still in the machine.
Not if you wax it. Or just polish it with a little coconut oil, rub in till no excess. Also could be a seal on the brass bits (the "gold" LOL). However, the brass around the sink will NOT look like that 5 years from now. Which she may have remodeled twice by then, LOL! Just Google "Brass bathroom faucets oxidized" to see what i mean.
