  • This Creo Parametric tutorial shows how to use the Weld connection in Mechanisms to fix one component to another while retaining the internal Degrees of Freedom (DOF).
This video also shows how to create coordinate system features.

Please make a video on the welding of parts as well. That would be really helpful.

Honestly, I have no plans on doing videos on the welding module anytime soon.

Hi dave, Am looking for videos about creating cables to moving parts ( mechanism) I want to see hoe cables behave when they are fixed to relative moving parts

Same mechanism can be made using another pin connection or a general connection. Please tell me the difference between using weld connection and the other connections in situations similar to this.

There’s more than one way to crack an egg and I’m showing those methods. Pin connection is when you want a rotational DOF. Weld connection is when you don’t.

Sir please explain attach tool (advanced modeling)

What’s the attach tool? I’ve never heard of it.

@@CADPLMGuy one of the flexible modeling tool.. Attach tool is placed in nearby remove tool.

Oh. I don’t think I’ve come across a use case for that. When using other Flexible Modeling tools, you can choose to leave the geometry unattached. I’ve never had to do that. If you do, then you can use the Attach command to... attach it back to the body. Sorry, I don’t have a use case to explain the use of the command.
