When one of my kid brings me a bouquet of mixed flowers from the grocery store (😂🤎) I break the bouquet up among several mini vases and place them all over the house. More mileage.

I've seen some use it with jam jars and mason jars! you just need more flowers so they standup right I would guess. :)
Yes, but only ones with narrow necks or they don't become bud vases but need a full posy.
