Excellent tutorial! I encounter this problem so often and I never know how to correct it, but your technique solves my problem perfectly! Thank you so very much! ❤️
Omg I started understanding halfway through what you were doing. I've sewn for decades and never thought of this! I'm going to look at your other tios! Thanks so much!
Thank you Amanda, it’s very useful and helpful video, because nowadays we ladies are facing these kind of problem every day. Thanks once again for sharing your good work and your precious time! Bye 🎉
Thanks for sharing your method of downsizing a big neckline. I followed it with great results!! My job became easier since the necks of tops I was altering, were of cotton material.
Thank you, Very helpful! I find however that I have to take in the back on the neckline because of my physical shape, I'm sure that by adapting these instructions the alterations will look better and be far easier than my current method.
Hi, thank you for posting. I'm a beginner and I'm really keen to try this alteration on an old t-shirt. However, the video rushes through some of the more complicated steps and the camera work moves too quickly, without giving viewers the chance to see everything properly. I'm impressed with the lady's skill and the end result is great. I just wish it had been at a pace a beginner could be confident with. Best wishes 🧵
Thank you for your valuable advice and support. Please forgive me for any inconvenience. I am not a professional photographer. I hope you understand. I will do my best to improve.❤👏🌹
Thank you, much respect, to you. Looks brand new and fits nicer. I have a few shirts I love but lost a bit of weight so now I can keep the shirts. The neck is huge on me now. So, hope to fix this weekend. Again, thank you very much. I sub to your channel. I can learn allot from you
If it's not a stretch fabric, then you have to check the shoulders and armpits for space. Take in the shoulders a bit and sew a line at the front and back necklines to gather a little bit , you can try this method, if you don't know if it fits, please don't cut off the excess fabric 😀
Thk u for sharing your knowledge. Just wondering if there's a way to replace the rubber/band for shorts without using sewing machine. I don't have a sewing machine.
Wonderful job. I think it would be beyond my skills. Would you know if this is something I could get done for a price somewhere? And how much roughly would you say it would cost? Thanks so much.
My dear sister, Thanks for your demo. No sewing teacher is explaining about these Intricate finishing jobs , These are very essential for alteration methods..... God bless you... Keep guiding us With your experience... One important doubt.... Don't we need to trim the stretched neckline also like you trimmed the neck strip.... One is stretched one and the other is trimmed one .... Just clear my doubt....
Thank you so much for your support 🙏🥰🌹the neckband cut off same amount on both sides, but the neckline of the shirt is narrowed with a big stitches, and the collar is stretched to match the neckline of the shirt when sewing.❤️
Super video. Your demonstration was easy to follow. One question, did you remove the back neck band from Right shoulder to Left shoulder, or was it the front portion you removed? Thank you and I apologize if you answered this in the video.
